The entire point of it is to maintain a height advantage. The problem is the piece of shit gets staggered too easily when shield is down and energy requires tracking. You can do 2 stun jump dives and the third will kill you for having no energy. People that say Aly is melee focused are full of it. You run out of energy when slashes wiff / you ever dash to dodge or chase. After 2 sets of hits you should swap to the gun and ground away to start recovering energy. As long as you breath (recover energy) you will be melee swiping enough to win. The shotgun is so your breathes were you shoot the enemy with left does damage.

This is ideally how you actually play Aly ingame as well, the shotgun burst is your opener to remove armor for allies, then you lock them down with halberd and gauss cannons for your big dick dps to go to town on them. As soon as you understand the basics, you should be moving to Extreme difficult as the loot pool is massive.

Yes there is only 2 extractions, but that isnt the goal - Its a bonus if you win, but not the goal.
You want to farm the PVE dropships or boats with your team - they drop Season 0 Supply crates pretty often which currently sell for 150 Yellow Currency each on the auction house.
On average you'll find 1-2 per run.
Cargo loot extraction Rockets cost 80 yellow on the auction house and safely extract 3 items, this makes a net positive on Yellow currency if used for only high tier loot.
Yellow Mod cases can also be found more rarely that sell for 500 yellow.
Plus Orange and Purple Canisters that sell for 60-80 yellow.
And finally Keys that sell for 300 yellows

Full charge is a trap even against Tricera & Co. I mean I guess you can use it if they actually stay in it the entire time, but if they move, it's better to spam the uncharged version. Always spam the uncharged version. If you can lock-on to someone, spam the uncharged version. It is your best friend. Even if it doesn't hit, it'll keep them spending energy for 0 effort from you. It recharges fast enough that should you want to drop the big version, you probably already have enough charges ready. One uncharged shot is also enough to kill a Narukami clone. Uncharged orbital is love and life. Pop radar for just enough to close in so you can spam stuff without it, then turn it back off to get a shorter cooldown. Also pop radar to give your team vision at round start and when a target is low.

Lock-on break you should just toggle on/off quickly to break the locks temporarily and confuse the enemies. They almost always give up the chase, and if they don't the distruptor isn't going to help you much.

The best feature is the ranged interaction from 1. Turn on lock-on break and cap a point. Jump up so enemies don't break the wire by walking. Maybe dodge around a bit. They won't shoot some guy just hovering about when there's action right on the point. I get like 6 caps every time because no-one targets me. On points it's actually good to use the charged orbital to deny it. The IFF flip is of questionable value, but admittedly I haven't used it that much.

That's because of the poor netcode that can't handle aimed shots without a delay. If you shoot where you think it will be in 0.5 seconds then you would hit him even if you shot nothing. And that's happening even if your latency is well into the greens.
This is why I've been so negative about narukami. People saying to just git gud and snap shot falcon like it's CS2 didn't even try it themselve and if they did they would notice how terrible the netcode is without the lock mechanic.

Spam the somersault a lot. You have much less EN consumption than a Falcon while remaining untargetable, on top of being bulky enough that it takes some focus fire to kill you. Consider your very long reload time but respectable damage gun. You should take a lot of time to line up your shots. The key to this mech feeling good is high accuracy. As for energy management, you'll get better at that as you play. You're a flier, so it's all about disengaging with your superior vertical movement to create space to recharge and not overcommitting, you have good range too so you don't need to go in hard other than when someone is low. Personally I don't expect a Skyraider to do much by itself, it works best in the deathball using its missiles to harass the group and picking off the targets that try to peel.

I think their main inspiration was AC6's PvP, but it's so much better than that. And it's not necessarily AC6's fault in that regard, AC6 could have been a lot more fun with more than 3v3 and objective play where other weapons and different styles of mechs would get to shine more.
