Pretty much, but you need spots to move to after you don't see anything, then a good spot to spawn camp in. You also don't really care about armor, turret armor is useful thats about it. You want good depression, reverse, and just sit behind cover use binos/3rd person camera and spend as little time exposed as possible when you shoot. Scouting also kinda kills aggressive plays, if you try to go on a big flank early and get scouted you are just cucked into oblivion so its not even worth bothering.

The DIRCM on the Mi-28 NM doesn't seem realistic. I don't think dazzlers would actually be effective on IR-based SAMs because lasers lose energy at long range, due to atmospheric interference and beam divergence; a small laser is probably only effective at short distance. Moreover, the IRIS-T missiles in question here use a radar-based proximity fuze so it wouldn't just fly past its target even if a laser completely blinded it.

Simply flying in a straight line while slightly climbing and then notching the first salvo at the beginning of the game is enough to raise your win rate by around 10%. A minimally complex implementation of EW aircraft would do wonders for arb, allowing shit players to support their team even if they fail to kill anything while experienced players have more control of increasingly chaotic games without having to act as literal bait or forcing themselves into dangerous positions in a bid to kill as many enemies as quickly as possible before being overrun after the blue dead weight fails the task of not flying in a straight at a missile while the RWR screams at them to please do something.
Add a small SL and RP reward for every enemy missile that doesn't reach their target in your area of effect and that'll be enough to encourage people to play them but even if they give jackshit I'd still play it if only because having more planes in the air dissuades the enemy from being too bold.
