If you take her to the brothel with Halsin, she will reveal that she has been daydreaming of having sex with him for a while now, even while dating you. For some people this is crossing a line, but that line is not actual for real cheating, it's just sort of a red flag. It's up to you if you're ok with that or not. Some people say that's not actually cheating and they happily date her, other people say that's weird behavior and go with someone else. Both are fine.

if you don't go to the brothel, at camp Halsin has another scene where he propositions you for sex and will tell you to ask your current romance if it's ok for you to sleep around, and Shart is one of the characters who says go ahead, while most say no. Shart also says to tell her all the details, and that she will also "find her own fun" while you're with Halsin. So she's certainly written to be the poly queen, even if you don't go to the brothel. But once again, this is not cheating or cucking. An open relationship where both partners agree to have sex outside of the usual two is polyamory (if it's long term) or swinging (if it's short term). So again, this is either ok with you and you happily continue, or it's a weird red flag and you go with someone else, but either way it's not actual cheating/cucking.

Oh she also flirts with him a few times and calls his arms big and says she likes people with muscle and he offers to turn into a fish to help her learn to swim and a few other conversations, but those are minor.

in act 1, Shart says that she is not the "third wheel type" and declines any threesomes, and she gets mad if you are not faithful to her. Then in act 2 she starts mentioning in ambient dialogue how physically attractive Halsin is, and by act 3 she is the poly queen companion that has multiple scenes where she approves and even disapproval if you back out of the threesome. So there is a certain element of a 180 degree turn in her characterization. Some people argue that it makes sense, because in act 1 she is the repressed cleric of an oppressive god and in act 3 she is free to be herself, but that doesn't really help the situation since that means "herself" is the poly queen, and also it doesn't make sense because we are told the sharrans in the cloister were sexually active with each other and their victims.

With Leliana, she's a super spy bard who uses seduction to get through her missions, whether it be information gathering or assassination. You know she's not a virgin and you know she is highly skilled at manipulation. So her being sexually open is not unexpected, and she never lies to you like Shart does. Shart actually says she's not the third wheel type. So expectations are a large factor in some people's negative reaction to Shart, but not negative reaction to Leliana.

Also, personally, I think Leliana is the absolute coolest romance in the third game and all of her prior flirty and flighty behavior is more than made up for. She became one of my favorite characters.

I would also propose that Zevran is actually secretly a loyal and deep character hidden behind a flip flirter, so he's also different for a different reason. I liked him a lot more over time, while my initial impression was very negative.

Talking about bioware characters from back when bioware was good makes me sad for [current year]. But that's a topic for another time.

I actually agree, and that relates to something else I've said many times, which is that I don't hold it against Shart, John is the one responsible for all of the problems. I genuinely believe Shart is a case of the writer failing to keep it in his pants while writing the character, and as the game went on (over the course of several years time) he just lost more and more self control and shame and eventually just threw in the bucket list of what he wanted on screen. If you danced then you're on the romance track. Wyll can have sex in act 2 if you exhaust all of his romance scenes, but it's rare, for most people it doesn't trigger until act 3 because it's at the end of his other romance scenes. Some characters have sex as part of earlier romance scenes, but he's a old fashioned guy so you don't have sex until after you have a conversation about getting married, which is later in his romance.

Shadowblade is mathematically the strongest weapon in the game. You want to maximize it's potential. Thus you need more attacks and a lower crit threshold since critical works by doubling the number of damage dice rolled and upcasted SB has 4d8 which is ridiculous. The most optimal built is 9 hexblade with pact of the sword with 3 Champion for improved crit and action surge. For items Resonance Stone is a must since it gives you an aura that makes everyone psychic vulnerability(including you but almost no enemy deals psychic damage) then go for critmaxxing with Knife of the Undermountain King(replacing it with belm can be a net possitive), Risky Ring and the dark justicars helmet(thematic!) until you get Sarevoks helmet and the dead shot bow. Don't forget that hexblade curse also lowers crit threshold. Btw arcane synergy also adds a nice damage boost with Booming Blade so pick that ring up as well. Due to resonance stone this build synergizes beautifully with shadow monk. That is pretty much it.Enjoy one tapping everything(except steel watchers, just use you EB there).

Most of them are pretty terrible because most unlock their big upgrades with either 3 or 5 and then possibly one upgrade at 11.
Beastmaster has a more consistent progression but that comes at the price of being utter shit initially.

I guess that's more of a thing for multiclass builds because they dip into multiple classes for upgrades.

Well he had several flirts with Shart in early access before they removed them, so I think that's the answer.
But there's actually a very nice scene at the end of the game after Minthara has been giving him crap all game where they talk at the epilogue party and she shows she does care, so that sort of thing will always be cooler to me imo compared to typical flirting.
