Super soaker is amazing on bugs and squids, it's your main offensive tools for heavies and medium/chaffs. Take commando/EAT for emergency heavies and take gas dog as flamethrower have zero CC. Gas + Fire and you're pretty much soloing the whole goddamn map yourself.

"Stamina" literally referred to your "shield" before you actually started taking health damage in Halo 3: ODST as a pseudo justification for not straying away from what everybody was used to with the previous games. So I think the passive should be something akin to your stamina meter acts like a second emergency healthbar when you're at 0% health, with the stamina meter being equivalent to 50% of your standard health bar. It borders on skyrim levels of extreme bugginess that ranges from mildly amusing to gamebreaking, which is ok in a single player RPG but unbearable in a multiplayer, co-op shooter.

Verdict?
I tried it with laser dog and Blitzer on bugs and had a good time with the weapon.
But it feels like it's an anti patrol gun. Strong alpha, and more versatile.
Just feels like it pays a premium for killing heavies, and doesn't combo with reds that typically soften heavies down. I enjoy the reload speed, but I feel like it's missing something
I don't think I'd ever take it for squiggers

Pros:
No back pack slot.
Can be reloaded on the move.
Hyper versatile, can kill every enemy in the game in one mag save a bile titan.
Can reload one round per one spent.
Strong ergonomics.
No recoil and insane burst

Downsides:
Awful reload speed means you cannot take this weapon in extended fights.
Relatively low ammo pool compared to auto cannon.
Easy to TK with if you're not careful

I'm actually playing on difficulty 7 to just fuck around. They don't kill me, and I can do this on difficulty 10 as well. Just hug the stim dispenser, stim myself and dive back and shoot them.

That's litterally all you do against these guys if they get within pissing distance of you. They're effectively just a stim check if you're not already shooting them. However they can phase through corpses easilly.

Use any weapon with stagger (blitzer, dominator, slugger, deadeye, AC, GL) and they are entirely trivialized provided you have the skill to juggle them.
Shoot them in the head with high DPS weapons and they will die near instantly; MGs shine in this role.
Use any crowd control effect: stun nades, gas strike, gas mines, gas dog, stun mortar, halt shotgun, etc, and you will also nearly entirely remove their thread.

I mean yeah you can shoot them, but if you're not bringing stagger cause sometimes just don't feel like it. They effectively just turn into a DPS/Stagger race like you said.
The safest and most reliable tactic when they are in your face is to just stim dive. They'll hit your legs mitigating a shit ton of the damage, and you just rail into them.

Half the time they just jump in from an awkward angle and get ontop of you. You have to dive stim to mitigate the kill combo.
I think they're fun and cool to fight, and I honestly think an enemy that punishes failed teamplay or awareness by forcing a stim is good design.

But it's kinda like the most reliable solultion half the time.
Like god forbid three of them congo line at you, you kill one, and then the other one phases through a corpse and you kill that one, and the last one phases through the corpse and instantly slaps your ass.

On bugs the stagger literally only matters against stalkers. Anything else you're going to be one or two shot headshotting, and against brood commanders you'd rather your shot didn't push the commander back a few steps so you have to align your shot again after the first shot. The slugger's problem is that is has damage falloff and bad bloom. What would be a two shot headshot on a brood commander some 150+ meters away with the dominator is going to be a three to four shot headshot kill on that same brood commander with the slugger, if you're even going to bother shooting at that brood commander at that range with the slugger. It's not worth it at all. Hell, it often feels like I have to shoot a brood's head three times even as short as 50 meters away for it to pop their heads like a balloon with the slugger to what would have just been a two shot headshot with the dominator at pretty much all ranges. It's really fucking perplexing how they've balanced the slugger. It's supposed to be the "precise" shotgun, but the dominator does its job better anyway and more.

Brap dog controls anything that gets with 50 meters of you, that allows you to run precision semi-auto weapons without having to worry about getting ran down constantly. Which is also why brap dog + laser cannon pretty much works against all three factions in the game currently. LC's weakness is that it doesn't have enough DPS to defend itself at close range, but when everything that can gap close you is gassed up and CC'd you cover that weakness perfectly.

You probably got lucky with headshots against the Bile Titan, usually it takes a lot more to kill one. And while it can lock on to Bug Holes, the trajectory of the missile might cause it to miss unless you line up your shot perfectly.

I don't like it on bugs because you don't really need it. At best it's an Alpha Commander and Bile Spewer killer, and those can be killed just as easily with primary weapons. Bugs don't throw a huge number of high-threat medium enemies at you like bots and squids, so it's less useful in that regard.

Like swamp planets would have bugs with grass and leafs all over them alongside chitin that are dark green in appearance to blend in with the enviroment, some bugs could have aquatic adaptations like fins to account for the fact they might need to swim in swamps. Snow planets can have fuzzy bugs with fur like that of a tarantula. Deserts and temperate climates can have the basic bugs we have.

Bots could be more varied like snow planets will have white snow camo paint on their armor, they can have more radiators to keep them from freezing. Jungles and swamps can have bots covered in camo netting like with irl tanks. Deserts and moon bases could have bots look like their more militaristic design in the concept art.

I just want more designs for enemies and biome specific designs is terrible underutilized in a lot of pve games, and it should add that we are fighting an enemy that also adapts to their enviroment.
