The Holiday marriage is pretty interesting to me.
Noelle implies Carol takes charge on the decorating which makes me believe she is the moneyed side of the family. Noelle also describes "Holiday family ninja style" in newest girl girl, and Carol is a ninja, so it seems like Holiday is Carol's maiden name? Which means Rudy took Carol's name.
So with that all in mind, what did Carol see in Rudy?
Is his sack game just that good?
Did she envision him as a stay at home dad?
Did Carol have parents or other family who were concerned about Rudy as a marriage candidate? That seems to be a thing more often in Old Money families. Non-old-money guys fight a very uphill battle to not be scene as a bum. How did Rudy manage, or did Carol just not give a fuck? How deep is her love for him then?

The multiple souls stuff is so stupid but I just love the idea of it.
Kris would need a giant birdcage in his room or some other sort of container to hold his multitude of hearts. And has to spend quite a bit of time putting them into his body and vice versa.
In chapter 4 Kris somehow releases them all from his body and shoves them into the present boxes. Only for them later to spew out of the kitchen vent while he's on the phone, and there's just a swarm of them moving through the house that no one has noticed somehow.
Weird route meanwhile either becomes even more horrific or just silly. During the Noelle scene not all the souls go with proceed leading to them being stuck in the vents. Out of those that do proceed dozens rush Kris forcing their way into his body while the rest mill about the room. When Noelle asks who is listening a deafening chorus of "US" responds, then when the thorn ring is reequipped a rainbow of flowers bloom. Then later when Kris thinks of Noelle a collage of different colored dots is shown.

At least everything else of the game was better than the best of the game.

Sans is a serious, Gerson-level (in terms of importance) 4th party member for Ch5, Asgore is the final boss fight for the chapter and Asgore will be forced by Gaster Blaster to accept Toriel doesn't love him anymore in normal route. Sans will block you anytime you try to have Kris flirt with Noelle/Susie there too. Weird Route's popularity explodes like Chara before as it hard confirms the SA interpretation, doe's pregnant with (you) and is so good it convinces the world gaming can be a serious art-form. Other routes are still phenomenal but Weird Route's a touchstone of art, inspiring many to come including /utg/.
>3:Personalized Human
The game now sets Kris pronouns per save file (she/they/he), the pronouns will become plot relevant ending but Kris being a Trans icon despite the game never saying it, just that accepted of a headcanon. Games' just as groundbrekaing as outcome 2 with Normal Route being the touchstone of art (ends in krusielle for peaceful shipping).

There are unique endings written for every possible combination of characters you spare/kill - that's not a matter of simply phoning it in, that's toby having an opinion about violence and respecting you enough to engage with your choices. Characters have dialogue specifically talking about characters you kill
You can't even get the true pacifist ending on your first run from a clean file. You have to reset at least once to unlock the true lab.
You may not understand the distinction, I do. If a game gives you a button that immediately kills you then you don't have a meaningful choice to press the button, you just don't press it. If a game gives you an option it should be because the consequences of that choice are meaningful to the experience it's trying to create

That's a bit concerning to be honest, that it's only been good because the rest of the dream was based on better more solid experiences he had and at any moment the plot might nosedive.

I do think there's a pretty real chance that the whole thing gets dumped, just because there's so, SO many details about how it is written that are absolutely pointless if the intent is just to write yurislop.
Hell even earlier in this thread, someone pointed out that there are parallels between Noelle's crappy scene with Susie and Berdly simping for her because she knew one piece of gamer trivia, with the latter obviously being mocked in-story.
Yurislop usually doesn't even bother to flesh out ANYTHING between the chosen moblobs, just "they like each other :)" and then they sit on a bench and hold hands or some shit. Suselle isn't like that, there actually is a lot of substance to how Noelle and Susie are written... and all of it is extremely negative.
If it were just a few things (Noelle seemingly slagging off Kris to make herself seem more available, or Susie acting weirdly in those scenes), then I could shrug it off as one of those funny emergent things that occurs with hack writing, like how Michael Bay's transformers movies accidentally made Optimus Prime into the Robot Antichrist and champion of self-extinction. But with so many details that all line up to present a very consistent, negative view of that relationship, the only reason I'm not fully onboard with "Noelle will watch from the chair next chapter" is purely because I'm not sure Toby is based enough to actually write that.
