A1 Ann is a giga power spike, take at least one from the beginner selector. A2 Ann vs Ryuji is a tougher call, but you can cross that bridge when you come to it. Play the game for a bit cuz the second selector will take you a while to get to.

There isn't really a need to cover all elements at 50 right now.
Whatever your 40 set is covers until the end of the 2nd palace. For the Companio and Velvet Trial bosses you're better off fusing Personas that are good into them than generalists to swap around. Or for the Vishnu and Cerberus bosses, using the Hell Biker and White Rider you already have.

You can fuse personas freely because you always retain your original persona copy. You can't accidentally fuse Janosik and then never get him back without paying for another copy of him for example.
You're free to experiment and you want to fuse as many persona as possible because it provides schema points that make Wonder stronger this is unlocked at level 30?/35?
You only need to start being careful when you get to Wonder level 50, as persona fights (that take stamina) stop giving guaranteed personas after a certain point, so being wasteful can really fuck you over.

The only thing you need to remember to do is fuse Hell Biker first before you get a free copy from the plan, since he gains a lot from fusing that you lose from a free copy.

More like he helps enable the fire chosen one. That battle start burn helps him spread the burn to all enemies, and next turn super burn them.

If it all works out, and without anything special (aka no 5* weapon, no good cards and whatnot), Ann can shit out ~15k damage+ to every enemy with a highlight -> skill 3 combo, aside of having like 3k dots on every enemies. Fire is scary good. Though I don't have Joker to know how he compares.
