Alright yall I'm pissed. Contrary to what an anon said the other day, you can indeed still get the limited voucher codes from the P5R trophies on PS. The twist is apparently US Sony ONLY has the case for completing the first Palace left. All I wanted was the case for the platinum trophy which you would think would have more in stock considering its the most rare trophy but nope I get an email from sony saying they don't have anymore but they give me one for the first Palace.

So I just got out of shower right and its early in the morning. The sun was barely even on the horizon and the blue light from the atmosphere shone through the bathroom window and mind you I always turn the lights off during shower so it was dimly lit by the morning sun outside. It was all cool like literally, blue hour and all you get the point. Anyways so this made me think of the potential art direction that the upcoming installment could possibly take. I expect P6 to bring back the gloomy and grittier atmosphere like the one present in older Atlus titles. I would hate if they made it all bright and flashy for the sake of it. Even worse? They double down and push the franchise away from all and any occult references. I think I have posted about my concerns here before but felt like bringing the topic up again. It would be really based of them if they presented a more gothic or grungy setting with horror elements in it.

I think it's impossible for Atlus to do certain types of genres and ideas since they want to make money and P5 makes a shitload of money. P5 made half of the money made from P3R by itself during that time's release. There are many factors with society's tastes in general for animes like MHA and superheroes in general too. If you compared P3 FES to Reload, it's very obvious they changed the game to be more upbeat in places like the dorms.
It's also important to mention the shitshow base SMTV was with how much it removed from SMT4, and VV's additions had half of a focus on being like Pokemon/Digimon. Even in SMT interesting ideas for mythology are thrown away from the main story and pushed into the NPC dialogue, while the game has a main focus on the gay romance.
My only hopes is it's not fully tossed away, but I do have the feeling the game will be extremely cookie cutter to promote sales and ideas added only since it was popular during development like an open world. It's either that or it's so expansive which explains the absolute development hell as we haven't gotten a single teaser.

I’ve written several autistic P6 concepts just to predict what to expect and just for fun of course, but it doesn’t make sense to hype myself up just to get uber disappointed, it’s just retarded.
Also, don’t expect anything too dark or edgy since they obviously have the P5 audience to please and they are well aware of it. And knowing that they probably want to get to the Chinese market they can’t just go full occult too.
The most realistic scenario is the mix of P4 and P5 as the basis.

The similarities between EVA and P3 have been discussed to death, but P3 also reminds me of a lot of the wave of edgy anime that came out in the mid 90s/early 2000s like Ergo Proxy or Death Note. The point is: tone is really important in Persona and If Atlus remakes a game, something is inevitably going to be lost in translation.

There's quite a bit of levity, especially during the daytime. I mean Gekkoukan is this super modern school with a brand new, bright campus; it's like heaven on earth. It's the nighttime/dark hour where the game gets edgy and dark. The clearly defined contrast/split was obviously intentional.
