No, heroes are just tools dude. You shouldn't be going an entire match without swapping. This game was at its absolute best in OW1 when it encouraged swapping to deal with emerging threats. This isn't League of Legends or Paladins ffs, swapping is a core part of the game.

I'm you can't deal with him it's a skill issue. I'm tired of people complaining about him being "unkillable" when there's at least two hard counters for ball per role. Ana shuts him down, and if ball gets slept while diving, hes cooked. Brig can boop him away and outlive him. Sombras perma banned so I won't get into her, but mei hard counters him with slow, freeze, and walls. Cassidy can two clip him and stun him out of fireball and piledrive. Hog and orisa can both cc him out of grapple. Im tired of people complaining about him, I know he's strong, but ball getting more hate than the tanks who are both stronger AND easier is irritating. Also all of these streamers who rose from the ashes of Overwatch are truly fucking awful: Aspen/Eskay/Fats, just... awful. People are rage/hate posting because the game is unironically fucking dying and people are too afraid to admit it. The game isn't in a renaissance, it's actively declining by almost every metric.

I'm not having more fun now that perks and stadium in the game, all it did was add needless complexity and give me stuff I could never even dream of asking for because of how much of a stretch it would be for the games identity.

The real problem is that we have idiots like Flats/Aspen who constantly inflate these developers egos because they exist in a toxic ecosystem where this weird type of subservience is rewarded with early access and being flown out to events.

I am sick and tired of what this game has become, and I'm afraid that if they sunset Stadium and remove perks it will kill the game; but at the same token, I think that's the only option to mitigate the damage they've done so far. Players are leaving at dramatic and record pace because this isn't the game people remember.

I think open queue is fun. One thing I really like about Rivals is that I get to play more than one role.

The biggest problem is really just that the lower you go the less it works, people in higher ranks are all able and willing to fill 90% of the time so you almost never get super fucked teams with only 1 support or 1 tank unless it's a real comp. I don't see how this can ever be fixed either, role queue is probably a necessity because of this alone or you're dooming the vast majority of your playerbase to unplayable games.

In an ideal world 6v6 would still be the main mode though, for sure. I'm a 5v5 defender and even I can acknowledge that.

When they removed role queue Mystery Heroes, I saw a bunch of people talking about how it was the only mode they enjoyed and that they were going to quit over it, despite them obviously removing it because OQ MH was more popular. Yup, I've played Mauga for a while and my strategy is that at a distance I use my flame gun, specially to set targets on fire like snipers and DPS healers. I get a lot of value from setting on fire targets that are flanking my team because it forces them to run for a health pack or waste their team's resources. If you're gonna 1v1 a target, stay in line of your healers, run towards your targets, slam them and mag dump them with both guns and aim for the head. Critical hits, regardless if your enemy is on fire or not, overheal you. No other character in the game can out DPS you in a 1 on 1, so your gameplan is to isolate enemy targets and shred them. You're a walking threat and if there's a good Mauga player in the enemy team, it's scary. I usually pick him when I see my DPS are too distracted chasing butterflies or keep shooting the Mercy'd up tank.

Fuck you, Juno doesn't need more nerfs. This hurts her team more than it hurts her. Losing 25hp does fuckall to her, but will really fuck with the team, who are being babysat with rings. They already did undocumented nerfs to Stinger so that the DoT no longer triggers the ticks of Kitsune or Three-Tap, and bumped it down from 11 damage to 10. Stupid faggots don't realize it because they don't play Juno or stadium. The good and viable Juno build out there right now requires you to have good aim. There's zero reason to nerf it further, but they will because instead of fixing the broken fucking match maker, they'll continue to shove faggot rookies and novices in to all star & legend games, and have them get their ass raped by a back-lining Juno with aim.

Notice how they didn't touch Mercy, Lucio, or Moira. The actual three supports with a fucking problem right now. Holy fucking shit the level of incompetence. Mercy can pretty much outheal an entire team's worth of damage focused on her up to rounds like 5 or 6 simply by having that one power that heals based off of the distance she GA'd before swapping targets. Lucio still can just exist on point and 1v5 a whole fucking team just by spamming boop. Moira can farm 20k cash in round 1 just by spamming orbs, can mass apply cybervenom, and can delete you from the game from half the map just by looking at you when ulting.
