Is it too late to get back? Played a bit on the server start, for around a week I think. Found the first arc to be atrocious, watered down version of Kamoshida (subway slammer memes are funny though, but he is laughable as a villain) in every aspect. Everything else was good, felt like an actual persona game, but the thought of logging in daily to do all the stuff made me puke and thus I quit. This is what I ended up with for level 50. There's not really a worthwhile replacement for White Rider and his stats hold up so he's staying in. Okinunushi does require you to have Merope quite high. Oki has Maragi because the only personas that can provide Maragion on skill teaching are really expensive and you're not using off element attacks to actually deal competent damage, just to proc downs.

No, I made sure all the personas going into the fusion were levelled enough to have unlocked all their innate skills to be inherited, so mileage may vary.
Okuninshi inherited magarula so it was just maragi.
Daisoujou got Voidal from Thoth (personal preference, having an almighty skill is just useful) and Mafreila from Ara Mitami, neither which are difficult to get. Agility Master 2 is common enough to get without paying too much.
I remember Mabufula being a little annoying to get on White Rider and with all of the coverage moves you're going to be fine if you use the lesser versions of the AoEs if you want to save some medals.

I'm probably going to utilise Byakko on one team depending on the content. You need to level him for Merope anyway, and he fills a pretty interesting niche with his unique attack. I think rank V and beyond is where it's starting to get really annoying and costly to experiment too much on them.
Also yes outside the stronger unique skills, Wonder's DPS is mostly confined to dealing relatively high "one more" damage and proccing downs for all out attacks at this point for me. Though Voidal Vortex actually manages to hit pretty high still.
