Honestly it's baffling that Imoen and CHARNAME weren't lovers to begin with, they were the only two people in Candlekeep in their age range, and went through all of puberty together with no other options, plus they're both attractive and charismatic people to begin with, which would make both of them appealing to one another as well.

dlc is kino. I liked it a lot.

I would say it's slightly below Void Shadows but still pretty good.

I love the extra effort put into the new class. There are world interactions with the pets and everyone has new voice lines for it. I wish the feudal planet had more going on though, like perhaps it became a colony, and also the body hopping should have had more to it, like it happened to the entire retinue and you had to figure out who was who or something funny like that. Also I want to return and see how Maive is doing as governor, like she's more confident.

I'm super excited for season 2 and also dark heresy next year.

I have to say it's fairly pathetic that romance content in CRPGs has still to evolve beyond what it was at its inception in BG2. In fact, if anything, the BG2 romances are still among the top tier romances in CRPGs and efforts in games decades later are worse.

Just being able to join another faction, that's pretty much all it takes to make me happy. I recently finished my KotOR 1 dark side playthrough after putting it off for so long. It was funny to be a dick here and there but in the end it didn't feel worth it because I was just making things worse for a faction I was supposed to be working for instead of joining the other side.
Joining the sith proper happens in the last five minutes of the game, it's way overdue and things play out basically the same anyway. I would have much preferred a proper sith defection arc.

Toybox reported I had a lot of points into humility, but if you tell her to spare her family instead of letting her make the choice, she will INSTANTLY be locked into distortion ending, because even if toybox reports only one distortion point gained, it will be reported as higher value EVEN if you take another humility option later one

I assume this was a bug, as even toybox is inconsistent on the matter, since it reports only one distortion point gained, yet gaining another humility point later on will not change anything

People complain about the graphics but honestly to me it's on par with like, Oblivion or WotR photomode. Totally fine, and even in how it's crappy it has a weird charm to it, for me.
I never felt bad about the graphics or sound. Some things are janky though, but if you approach it more as like an actual tabletop experience with friends, rather than Critical Role tier BG3/WotR epicness, it's pretty fun.

I wasn't expecting anything plotwise more than "the bad guy's in the dungeon so let's go there" but a few times was surprised and thought it was neat.
The way they handle map loot is really nice, too. Also the way mercs (all characters are mercs btw) get a bit of personality.
Make sure to have someone with "Arcane" I think it is, or you won't be doing any crafting.
Another dumb thing: can't turn around once you've set out on the world map towards a destination.

What exactly is your experience and expectation for this genre? It's very much a wordswordswords genre, in case you somehow are just entering blind.
Anyhow, I would say personally that RT is a bit worse. There were a few times also that their voice over interfered with me being able to read the chunky paragraph, so I had no choice but to give up reading and just listen to them deliver the words for awhile.
