After coming out a scamper, Chucky should then be still in hidey ho mode and just wind up still. Where he can do whatever, do a basic attack, cancel hidey ho, or charge another slice and dice. This would make him much more interesting and fun to play both as and against, and make his scamper not so bad you actually want to make sure you don't perform one. Keep in mind this still doesn't mean he can just scamper at will, he would still have to perform a slice and dice into a vault or pallet to scamper. I'm not saying a scamper should reset his hidey ho either, he would still need meter left to perform another slice and dice.

The knight summons one of his three guards on survivors to chase for him while he chases someone else. Carnifex breaks pallets fast but is shit at all else, Assassin is usually the only one capable of getting hits but has the smallest aoe and Jailer has the largest chase time and aoe.
Aside from Carnifex making every pallet a 50/50 so long as his reactions are fast enough to instacancel, he doesnt really have a quick chase power and basically has to cut off whoever his guard is chasing.
What makes him ok is that he can pressure multiple survivors at the same time.
When his guard hunts a survivor, after a length of time a banner spawns where the survivor was found (You know as a survivor its up when you hear the loud as fuck horn). If they run to it, they end the hunt early and get endurance for doing so.

Tldr - The change means Jailer guard, whose main use is to stall for 10 seconds at least, got its stall time cut down to 4 same as assassin. Jailer is back to being useless.
Its not going to affect pubs because most forget the banner exists and win anyway

The wincon is gens, gens are already too fast to be manageable without perks centered on them. Killer has to get downs to advance their objective but keep pressure on multiple survivors so they can not commit to every chase until it is a down because maps just dont allow for that. Hit and run forces survivors to be doing something other than gens (healing) while the killer is chasing someone else, so they can pressure survivors off of gens without actively being on top of them, which is essential. Medkits and healing speeds overall right now make it so that being injured does not give any significant pressure off gens at all while the killer is chasing another person and trying to commit to a down. Legion and plague dont solve this issue because they have no power to enable them to get downs faster, only injure, so survivors don't need to heal at all but even if they choose to they are hardly inconvenienced with the current heal speeds. And aside from that, killer players want to pick a character with a power they enjoy or from a franchise they enjoy, telling them to just play a different one instead of poining out balance issues when playing their character of choice is like saying "just play a different game" and is a non argument.

It's not just legion. It's a problem with the game as a whole and as much of a major factor for killer queues being long as bad balance.

They just need to make it more interesting than watch bar fill up. That goes for everything really. Skull Merchant cams was a step in the right direction and then they just never used that again
