is it just me or is this whimpering wastes insanely hp inflated again in wuwa? Feels like they constantly try and do these insane difficulty spikes in wuwa, but then run it back everytime because people just quit their game instead of whaling.

I went from close to 8k points last time to barely getting S rank.
Honestly makes me feel like just quitting wuwa, they've been doing this shit forever. Even before wiwa existed, they did this a couple of times with towers that were randomly super hard compared to the previous one, and then they nerfed it within a day because people couldnt clear and just gave up on the game.

How is saintontas spinning this one? It was really bad. The mobs are even havoc resistant, so you can't camellya to cheat out the S rank.

genshin has the hardest game modes unironically, takes forever to build characters to clear the abyss and have enough to do all 10 floors of IT (though IT is very easy once you can actually do it). The new game mode is also extremely difficult to do difficulty 5, ignoring the whale only difficulty.
People forget how long it takes to build up your account in Genshin, takes fucking forever.


Wuwa is the easiest, though they did randomly make the new reset of wiwa super hp inflated, and have done that a few times.

For ZZZ Shiyu is pretty easy, but getting 3 clearable teams every reset in DA is fairly hard, takes awhile to get enough characters to do it. I'd say full clearing DA is harder than clearing the abyss in genshin, but much easier than the new game mode in genshin.

Putting any effort at all makes it fairly easy to full clear both modes. I THINK the endgame is balanced around the average score and time. Most of the lower end players who aren't new, and can't clear the endgame just have a lot of shit wrong with their builds / team comps. I constantly see players have horrible mainstats, weird 4 piece disc choice on the character, not hitting certain breakpoints (Astra 3.4k attack) and just running weird ass team comps.

I would not call DA "easy" this cycle
Following and cross-referencing guides, I'm pretty much barely getting 9 stars after multiple attempts. Proper w-engine picks and disc set picks, attempts at getting proper substat rolls (I am all out of batteries now), cookie-cutter teams, attempting meeting breakpoints as listed, and a couple of limited sigs. No dupes on any limited S-rank character. Doing chain attack optimization, maintaining stacks on 4 pc disc drive sets, maintaining ex skill buff uptimes, and locking the boss out of their timewasting mechanics (Bringer/Pompey) as best I can.
It still took very, very many runs to get all 9 stars, because the game is fairly difficult and will punish you appropriately if you squander a stun, don't know combos or don't maintain mechanics. It definitely took a "perfect" run after adapting to moveset intricacies and micro-optimizing between phases.

I am not saying it's difficult for a gamer or whatever standard may be at play here, but unless you're the kind of account that just get dupes and sigs for everyone, I would not call this "fairly easy". OR you're the kind of player that's clearing DA with level 50 everything/f2p everything, but those guys are genuinely good at the game if you watch them play, so I don't feel like that reflects "ease" at all. Even an average gamer isn't doing all that, and I don't mean "phone gamer".

It isn't, I have good limited units at m0 in those teams. I'll list them but also list what I had to learn to even come close to 9 stars - not doing that was a 6-8k difference and really highlighted the need for effort on both playing your units correctly and the mechanics at hand. Although two of them are on the easy clear, and admittedly if I swapped my stunners I would have had an easier time on Pompey for sure. However, that's Ju Fufu with her sig (which she doesn't even need, just don't have discs to make the breakpoint without it). And obviously a current banner unit is shilled in the bi-monthly content for obvious reasons.

Again, it's not really an issue that it took effort I think and it was fun. Compared to when I was playing Genshin endgame where all I cared about was popping a Eula or Hu Tao rotation without getting hit too much, not caring at all even when elemental shields were in play. I simply had to learn the fights, then optimize what I was doing with each unit (not just dumping EX or doing full strings but holding/spending depending on stun bar and phase, and not mindlessly wasting assist points on meaningless parries or doing dodges wrong like most ZZZ haters will say the game is about), and try to reroll for a few better discs. Combat is fun and better than other Hoyo games. Nothing crazy or revolutionary but impactful and satisfying. Never played those other games.

Story used to be fine but it's been going downhill, lot of repeated plot points and predictability. But there is a skip button so it's not that big a deal.

Save for Miyabi. Unfortunately they stacked a lot of good teammates for her back to back (Yuzuha running alongside her, Yanagi in her next banner, Caesar running now) but she's strong enough that you can play her in pretty suboptimal teams and still do well. Try to pick up an off-field anomaly unit like Burnice or Vivian when you can because that's what she likes.

Evelyn on Pompey (Koleda, Lucy) -> Had to learn and optimize Koleda and Lucy decibels and get 4 Evelyn CA + double Ultimate off consistently without triggering last phase invuln. Had to bait his parry to get a double dodge counter on it, and try to set off burns during his enhanced phase. Had to stop stunning so fast with Koleda, I lost 5-6k every time this, or losing one ideal stun combo happened.
YX/Pulchra/Ju Fufu -> Didn't have to learn shit, YX + Ju Fufu + both sig walked all over him.
Miyabi/Burnice/Soukaku -> I won't lie, I've hardly used Miyabi after rolling her, but I pulled her out here and gave her my Ellen discs because I was sick of Bringer wasting time. She has Puffer Electro because again, my Woodpecker discs are garbage, but so are my Blade & Branch discs. She does have her sig though, so no problem on her damage output really, as this is an anomaly shill boss with ice weakness anyway. Basically had to figure out double freeze to stop the hand mechanic->second freeze right after stunning to spend stacks and refund them with ult for x2 6 stack dump + ult every rotation, and spend each unit's ult fast enough to generate as many Miyabi stacks from Disorder as possible, without losing banner buff mid-rotation. I failed a decent amount of attempts because I was mistakenly refusing to hold stacks the closer I got to double/triple ult dump, thinking I could fit a full refund in. There was a perfect timing between spending too many too fast and not spending enough of course, where if I let bringer idle for too long after he'd attempt the hand. The good run I only let him do it twice. The runs I did fail were a 6k difference. This definitely wasn't nearly as sweaty as Pompey as Burnice made keeping track of stacks immensely easier, and Soukaku only really had the job of buffing and freezing. But I definitely couldn't autopilot it like I thought Miyabi just did without thinking.
