Ult builds fast and you have good sustain with your bubble. Great self peel and along with your heals being auto tracking and AOE near the target. Your ult lasts the longest being 13 seconds but like with Invisible woman, its static and it goes away when you die so you can become an ult magnet or push target. Also has the ability to debuff enemies making them take a whopping 28% more damage.

You see all of those plus's do not compare to any utility provided by invisible woman and her ultimate. She's getting out sustained by cloak and dagger, Mantis is benefiting the team in a more meaningful with damage boosts + has better self-peel. Adam provides a strong meta defining team-up and can keep fights lasting a long time. Even Jeff can have more impact and win games off ult usage and can play safe when being dove.

Invis woman lacks meaningful self sustain that doesnt require her to remove herself from the fight. Her ult has the same issues CnD but doesnt last as long. Your ultility comes in pushing and pulling or grounding/slowing people with your damage orb. Your leap leaves an invisible dot that tracks where you went invisible and people are great at finding you off that alone. The better healers have better anti-dive measures but also better utility that benefits more team comps which is why invis woman isn't performing well and is similar to CnD. Maybe it is just an ult issue but also these characters dont get team-up that benefits team comps and playstyles which is why they are low performing.

Anyone with good analytical ability can tell if they will be good or not when she drops and properly looks through the kit., reads the official site for details and tests her.

Just looking at her kit she will at least be decent. Mobility is always good, CC like stuns are always good, good teamup, fast projectile/hitscan is good and ult will at least on paper be situationally good since it could fuck over several vanguards, strategists and some duelists.

Healing done is based on how much damage your team takes that you can then heal. So how much your team is getting hurt without preventing a good chunk of it with temp health/shields impacts how much you could even in theory heal.
Then a hero with lower moment to moment healing or weaker sustain healing that can be spread out to more targets bloats the numbers. The former is basiically if a healer can take someone from 50% hp to full hp instantly they will need to heal them less than someone that needs to spam heal to get them to full while attacked. The latter is like dealing damage in an AoE. These can be combined.
Big healing ults easily inflate healing numbers, especially since they tend to be used while several allies are under fire.
Etc.

The healing over time stat is basically useless as an indicator for how well someone did as a Strategist.

Her stick is the chain reaction from stacking that ability on her left click, which falls off after about 6 secs naturally so she has to intentionally build it and maintain it. It also doesn't work if they stay far enough apart to ignore the explosions which only damage the targets around the original and not the original themselves. It also doesn't do enough damage even with the massive chain to pressure people huddled in a defensive ult.

That isn't a problem. The problem with frequent hero releases in games is that they generally take a decently long time if you want to prioritize quality, unless you have a ton of hero designers and artists that don't overlap.
Generally you'd want at least 2 months at the bare minumum of just design to not end up with utter crap. But ideall you want 4-5 months if your goal is quality.
Then it's more about balancing, which is usually a bit more on a separate group of designer(s).
The one exception to this that they also want to add and remove team-ups, which adds additional work.

2 heroes per season in a 2 month long season is actually an insane pacing in terms of dev time. So I wouldn't be surprised if they do overtime constantly.
So this 2 heroes per season is most likely temporary. Otherwise hero kit quality will keep dropping eventually.

How exactly would you "give" out losses or wins when how humans perform is not something you can quantify into a number. How do you track who is tilted, who will suddenly decide to play heroes they're not good with, who suddently stops/starts stacking, who wants to experiment with a different strat, what hero they will pick, etc. etc. etc. and then do this for 10 different people.
None of this is something some extra lines of code could even remotely do, since it outright involves precognition.

But the most fundamental mistake most players make that get "stuck" in various ladder/ranked systems is that they play how they perceive "they should play", not how you play to maximise winning with your team, which can even extend to team morale. It's a whole can of worms.

Most do not in any of these matchmaking games. Stacking isn't always a boon either. You're just making up excuses so you can keep blaming a boogeyman system for your losses to avid looking at the actual reasons you lost.

Have you ever actually sat down and watched the replays of all the wins and losses you've gotten during the day and identify what everyone did right and wrong on both sides that lead to that win/loss and what all of your mistakes were? While being brutally honest with yourself? In many of those losses was there absolutely nothing you could've done to win or increase your chances of winning?
I'm not talking cherrypicking matches, but all matches.
Metagaming knowledge and raw mechanical skill is what leads to consistent wins.

I have lost track of how many times the "bad team" won and the "good team" lost due to overconfidence, misplays, tilted behavior and more.

Besides, have you actually looked over every single loss you got during your "loss streaks"? And then the enemy team? Can you honestly say that you were always the best player on the team? Or even second best? That all players on one team were bad? That all players on the winning team were great? It's randomized.
You're also making it clear your ego is way too big, since you clearly deem yourself as "not bad". So you're claiming the system is literally picking 9 other players to specifically keep you down because you are so incredibly good you can't be allowed to win (but apparantely actually great players can keep climbing, but not you). Everyone who doesn't stream or stack gets loss streaks. No exceptions. Stacking is always a boon unless you're stacking with a much worse player because it removes 1 chance for the game to put a dead weight player on your team.

I did not install the game last week, I don't need to watch replays to know why a match was won or lost the vast majority of the time. Most of my games end with one team steamrolling the other, to the point that a single player's performance doesn't matter in the slightest. When I'm in a forced loss, I can pick hela and go borderline aimbot mode and I'll still continue to get rolled, and when I'm in a forced win, I can basically sit afk on the cart and let my team win by themselves. This is EOMM working as intended and is true for everyone who doesn't play in a stack and doesn't have a flagged streamer account.

When you think about it, a game like rivals has a hundred different levers and buttons to pull and push when matchmaking in order to rig games.

You can match low skill against high skill, put bad healers on one team, fill a team with mains of only one role, put known throwers onto one of the teams, put dive mains against poke, brawl mains against dive mains, stacks against solos, etc, etc.

Not saying there is eomm, but it would be the easiest thing ever to implement.

My friend is like this. He's a better player than me mechanically and often does better when our friend group plays as a stack in QP, but in solo queue ranked he's the worst performer out of all of us and has been stuck in elo hell (Gold) the whole season.

He constantly tries to force a certain playstyle (overextending to try to secure healer kills and dying as a result), complains that his team isn't playing the game right and often swaps to characters he barely knows how to play in order to counter pick.

Meanwhile I play my mains, stick around my team and the objective, try to stay alive and end up doing much better in terms of wins even if I rarely have impressive stats.
