There's a theme, particularly around the Holiday family, of things being frozen in place and never moving on. Susie also talks about wishing each day was the same as the last. But in chapter 3, we see the issue with clinging to the past, trying to do the same thing over and over. The game gets old. A time loop would fit into that theme pretty well. The last one is particularly interesting because that could imply in this other version there was no Roaring Knight fight at the end of chapter 3, and instead the heroes fought Undyne who ended up getting the Snowgrave treatment.
