The equation is with carbuncle evo. When you're going for all out lethal you'll be sevo'ing carbuncle so that's the equation for it. Look at the example pic and apply it you'll see it hits right with carbuncle evo.

Here's another example. 9pp, 1 0pp card on hand. So 10-4=6. Roaches will come out at 7 and 8. Add in rocks and carbuncle ping if he can kill someone. (2 rocks, 1 carbuncle) so +3 for 18 damage total. Rune dies at -1.

The equation works, the only things you need to account for are board space (I get a feeling for it from whether or not I'm playing bales) and obviously if they have a board full of wards no quick calculation will help you.

The way this equation works is that playing 2 roaches is -6. Carbuncle sevo adds 2. So -4. If you're not using carbuncle then that only makes it simpler.

I can beat Aggro Dragon and Roach as Rune but it requires Anne very early to get tempo back so I can become the aggressor and force them to respond to my threats(which really needs Kuon too). Pokemon is THE casual collectors game, the vast majority of the people who buy Pokemon cards don't play at all. Yugioh is pretty sweaty but there're people who play more casual formats on paper and the Master Duels app often runs casual fuck around events. Both games have strong grass roots scenes behind them.

Shadowverse is distinct because it was built from the ground up around competitive play. There's basically been no time in its history that the game hasn't catered primarily towards the hardcore scene and even if you decide to play among friends with your own house rules and agreements the card pool and rules themselves aren't really designed to enable anything except competitive play under your preferred custom power levels. They simply don't print fuck around cards.

I have like 60% sapphire and 25% diamond. Pretty comfy honestly, promoting to diamond just makes my games more frustrating while ruby is too easy so sapphire is the sweet spot.
