I logged a small hour on /v/3 yesterday and did one of those mora coins run I kept reading about. It was kind of fun to see new RO contents but the pop is really low now and some are gone to try CCRO. I think /v/3 is on its last stretch after the upcoming annual anniversary, which in hindsight, is around what a server is able to withstand popwise nowadays. I think nigdev has every rights to host his server for how long he wants and people could at least show some gratitude toward him because he's doing it for free out of love for RO. Every single players I played with from here have been based and true ro enjoyers, so much so that people just keep reminiscing of the better time where server talk was not on the table. Ill check the threads again this winter and see where you guys at. I appreciate you all ro lovers, it takes all kind of personalities to make a fun pop for a server so everyone get a based stamp from me.

Potion Pitcher is always good for helping your friends / homun or healing yourself, Ressurect Homun is good to max out so you can send your full hp homun if it dies.

If this is CCRo then Bio Cannibalize is kind of funny but you need some equipment and cards to make it good (like autocast stuff), otherwise you'll have to rely on your homun or mammonite / cart revo for damage.
Also if CCRo you don't need the Chemical Protections since you can get a headgear with FCP on it for when you actually need it.

I'm playing CCRo currently not because of it being Seasonal, but because it looked to be a fun one-time thing.
After it wipes I'll have no reason to play again, so I'll disagree with the idea that wipes is what makes RO worth playing.

MMOs should be comfy games to go and grind at your own pace while chilling with your friends sporadically instead of always being on a race against the clock and being forced to start from 0 every other month.

I would believe the reason no one plays the Legacy version is because what would be the point, the server's gimmick is collecting cards, if you already got them all then it's no different from playing a pure pre-re server except you're giga boosted by all the effects.
In other words, you would hit end-game, be super saiyan on all your classes even with no equip and then AFK in whatever city you like for the rest of your days because it will never have new content, like all pre-re servers.

Gear Upgrades are not a bad thing, if everything was Sidegrades then what would be the point of getting them.

With new monsters there should be better gear to fight them, if there never are new stronger monsters and never stronger gear, then you can just get one set of gear and live with that forever for all content, basically stopping any sense of progression.

The problem with how Dev did it is that he made all the new mobs extremely annoying to fight by keeping their way too bloated HP / Hit / Flee / Atk while the gear isn't up to par for them, made the gear you get go through 200 layers of slavery grind and also made most of the new places worthless to party to, because everything has such low rates that no one wants to share those drops and the exp isn't even good compared to already existing places.
