And there is nothing like an operator using a hardened wellspring to buff her motes. And the feeling that comes when a Corpus runs screaming from his irradiated MOA, only to be mowed down by heavy kitgun fire, is such an exquisite feeling. Reminiscent of when ranks of infantry brandish their prods rushing into the enemy line. It moves me deep within my heart to watch a Wisp meleeing over and over into the bloated chest of a long-dead enemy.

Gentlemen... All I ask for is Wisp butt, Wisp butt so grand as to make Hell itself tremble. Gentlemen, I ask you as fellow brothers in arms what is it that you really want? They've created their own problems.
Everything in this game is screaming at you to try and optimize your builds, and damage, even giving you a simulator to test it in. Then DE get all butthurt once players actually do it.
RNG slop is also partly to blame. When everything is random they need a way to force fights to always last a fixed duration. So you will grind the content for the projected amount of weeks/months.

Me personally, you’re often competing with your team and the map design does not often make it convenient for you to at least do the 20-30m Kills challenge at a good pace, though the rest of her is still perfectly suited for elemental kills and sliding and wall latches and such
There’s little point in playing her if you’re with a group who can nuke on Steel Path, though the rest of the time she lends herself pretty alright to more experimental builds that use things like Maglev or Aerodynamic Whatever to give you more air time when you need it, and you can’t really complain about not getting the buffs you want like reload on roll or crit modifiers over fireballs and parkour speed when that’s the main appeal of Koumei, personally I enjoy the chaos of going in thinking I’m going to be using a gun and wound up with too many buffs on melee instead, keeps things dynamics, otherwise I’d switch back to Nezha or something to do similar things a maxxed out and lucky Koumei can do
Though I will say this is one of those times I agree with the people who think her Augment could’ve been built into her base mechanics since you’re a dead man to the team if you’re too busy rerolling challenges and not cashing them

She was clearly supposed to be something else entirely and rushed out. Some anons have theorized she was to be linked to Duviri not Cetus and her doll joins similar to the citizens of Duviri suggest that along with her puppet like animations. Now with her abilities she's also half baked. She has gambling but it feels tacked on to abilities that don't match that aesthetic. But she's also a strings of fate character with this marionette appearance, except not really outside of one attack shooting strands and another that ties up a few enemies like puppets. Then there's the issue with decrees and DE just porting one's from Duviri and being even less creative with it by forcing you into a decree instead of giving you at least 2 options and making a new set for you. Then DE tries to say that she's for new players when this is also half baked since her kit will need a lot of investment said noobs won't have to just be ok at best. Also new players will not be doing long endurance run missions to even see the returns necessary for her to be good or even useful when they can run the starter trifecta and do much better.

She's a mess all around.

unlock planets
planets will unlock new quests and blueprints
eventually around halfway through you'll get the first mainline story quest, everything prior to that is setting up factions and locations
once you beat that quest is when you finish "the tutorial"

also look into some frames you might want and go for them on the side, the starters aren't bad but they're fairly bland

we just got a frame that has bigass spider legs, summons a horde of spiderlings, and web zip around the map, meanwhile the starters can swing le sword or run a little faster

if you can slog through destinys NPE and daily power grind you can handle warframe

I got a nice riven for it so I've been using it a little.
You can run a standard influence build to probably greater effect but if you want something different you can play Afflictions. Specifically Final Harbinger is a good stance for it. I was kinda cramped for space here but you can run Virulent + Volcanic + Weeping Wounds/Organ Shatter here instead.
It's pretty on par with the other non-incarnon melees I've messed around with but it's stance is fun to use and I like the aesthetics.

depending on the game mode you're in, spam subsumed Thermal Sunder and/or use every buff from her 1 and 2. You can learn what the buffs do if you want, but you're either gonna completely ignore them or maintain them all regardless of whether or not you know what they do. Efficiency and strength, but don't dump duration or it will hurt your upkeep cost on 4. You don't need much/any survivability from mods because of your 50% evasion and the debuffs you apply through 2.
3rd slot is subsume, and you have a lot of good options. Titania has no AoE damage or damage amp, so you have a lot of choices here.

More importantly than just Titania, you have to dump a few forma to make the Dex Pixia good. And they can be great, killing comfortably through Lv1000, although pretty bad against bosses with damage attenuation because of their rapid nature.
Lots of choices for arcanes, too. Titania uses exalted pistols so those are an option. She also has "summons" in razorflies so camisado is also an option.

IMO you don't need shield gating for the majority of content but it can be good for 1 life modes where you'd be scared of going down at all.

Shield gating is when your shield gets depleted and gives you a gray bar that keeps it from going into your health. You can only shield gate again when your shields are completely restored.
