No, And I really did try and do other things, I joined sailing and driving groups, I roleplayed in RP sims, I tried my hand at meshing. In the end every single part of SL is about trying to be the center of attention, even exploring in groups, someone has to be an attention whore.

This is part of why I had to remove myself from roleplay sims entirely. A majority of people at them do not truly care about roleplay or the combined hobby of telling stories. There is only a care for being that center of attention while being the main character both in character and out.

Yeah I've given up on RP sims, doesn't help that they push for people to just log in for events, so a sim can sit empty 90% of the week. Then the few times where some walk up occurs its like someone alerts the discord and the attention whore happens to pop in and insert themselves into the scene.

Exactly. Just another list on my reasons. AS much as I hate how group/clique driven some sims can get I also realise why it happens so much in SL. Especially when walk ups just degenerate in to every main character showing up to a dozen person scene all battling for the centre of attention without consequence.
