What's a Rev to do?

Melee-focused Ironeye feels stronger than Duchess for solo.
I got a RoB and stunlocked + bleed a Day 2 Ancient Dragon to death in less than a minute.
I can also keep a bow in the left hand while still having access to my right hand weapon skill, unlike Duchess that needs to 2h or swap away her staff to be able to use skills.

Yes, incredibly good. She has an A in INT meaning she does 90% damage. Recluse does 100% damage, so while it is a difference, it's not as big as you'd think. Plus with Restage you can restage your spells which does a lot of damage. Then she has a much better dodge and survivability than Recluse so she's not just 3barring the entire fight.

The strength of duchess is that she's very flexible in a game with RNG drops due to how Restage works.
If you set her up right, at any time you can pivot into dagger r1-spamming, weapon skill spamming, status weapons, or sorceries/spellblade stuff.
With B Faith she can even do incants decently enough, especially if you get a good incant for the Nightlord's weakness you can cast then restage. Like Flame of Frenzy vs bugs.

2/3 psn everdark bosses

Just played with randoms and used 6 starlight shards of charged lightning bolts and 3 ults on AUGUR
They were doing so little damage that they probably would have died at 80% of it's health. They were already out of flasks towards the end(we had 8)
One of them was an Ironeye but doing the classic 10 damage max range hits, the other was a raider who never hit it with his weapon aside from when it got knocked down or tried to sleep.

Man, Fulghor is so far tougher than both the actual nightlord and both everdarks I have fought so far. The everdarks I succeeded on either by first or second try. But I'm trying to do Ironeye's remembrance questline and I'm at 8 losses in a row where there just seems nothing anyone can do about his constant AOEs.

I even thought I really had it on this last run, lucking into a weapon that did both rot and poison on hit and I was even able to proc those debuffs and did BIG damage over time to him, but once phase 2 started it was just people dropping like flies over and over.

His regular fight's phase 2 is pretty fucking spastic and I never got full hang of it myself except for staying back and marking him if he's close enough. He's kinda designed with this in mind I guess, because counterintuitively, the safest spot during his chimpouts is right by his ass. Try getting a good dex+lightning weapon you can quickly switch to/offhand and dash into him to lay on the hurt. Also strongly advise against trying to rez 3-bars, it's total sunk cost fallacy bullshit especially with how boss aggro seems to jump sometimes.

I can't remember a game being so exciting and quite literally raising my blood pressure like this.
I'm busy and can't game all day, but I love that this game gives me such intense and memorable 45 minutes sessions. It's much more satisfying to play than, as an example, elden ring. The absolute easiest is the new steam recording. My friends don't like it because it's pre-compressed or something, but I don't really care.
I've set it up so it records in the background and keeps the last 240 minutes of gaming. I have tons of drive space so it's not an issue.
At any time I can go back and rewatch everything, take screenshots wherever I want, and easily make both short clips and long cuts whenever I want. It's extremely easy to use and I recommend it.
It's also extremely lightweight. While I felt the performance go down a bit with others, with steam recording it doesn't happen.
I use it ever since it was in beta, but I'm sure it's been released even in the standard version of steam, so you already have it installed.

with steam recording you can go back and rewatch everything and clip from any point to any point.
ever since i started using it, i do tons of videos of my bossfights or cutscenes and save them on youtube to rewatch later or to share with my friends.

you can also set it up so it records all system audio and your microphone. this way it'll record you talking to your friends on discord and it's nice to clip and save funny moments.

Do we know how silver pickled fowl foot work? Does it only work for yourself? How does item discovery work?
I had one run where I had close to 90-100 item discovery, thanks to the weapon I had, and I had a legendary drop on pretty much every higher field boss.
Yesterday I had the silver scarab talisman and that one alone wasn't enough to increase the item discovery that much, only got one legendary in that run. So is there like a threshold how much you should get before it changes significant your drops? And what drops are affected?
