You need to take it with at least botany if not also desperate measures. It's strength is that it's an unconditional heal unlike a medkit or something like inner strength, second wind, strength in shadows. It can be quite useful because of that like healing after gens are complete so you can run to the gate or unhook.

It's not a great perk but it's reputation for being bad is mostly from people who just refuse to ever play injured so they run to the edge of the map, heal, get hit again, run away, repeat. It's decent with heal speed perks if you're solo.

Every killer in the game needs a viable chase power that can be used around loops. Stealth can't be considered a viable alternative to this necessary fundemental part of the game just because it works on new solo players. Ghost Face is dumpster tier because of this, but excused because he shits on newer solo players. Pig and Sadako are excused even more because of their additional mechanics which gets more mileage out of them even against slightly better players. Wraith walks a strange ground of being so effective with his stealth and his speed boost lunge that he can perform better than any of them, but still having no chase power.

Yeah if you also include things like some perks only 1 person would need it in a SWF for everyone to effectively have it then it probably is at least 10+ free perks. Then they make perks that are basically SWF exclusive and solo players will almost never get any value out of them.

You could give solo queue survivors basekit camaraderie, kindred, bond, windows, empathy, deja vu and they still wouldn't be as strong as a SWF. Then BHVR of course balances against SWFs despite saying the game is 1v1v1v1v1 because they have to but most people are solo so then killer 4ks way more than they actually should be.

they're similar in aspects but legion is nowhere near as strong. the difference between legion running ahead of you with his speed during feral frenzy and cancelling it, and ghoul leaping ahead of you and cancelling his leap as he does so, is that legion then has to wait out his stagger before he can hit you, whereas ghoul gets to m1 you after doing that much quicker.
outside of chase, ghoul can use his map for great map traversal whenever it's off cooldown, which is often, whereas legion has to stab a survivor, then another survivor, then another, etc, to actually build up worthwhile speed for map traversal.

Yup pretty much the issue is people have figured out that since gens are literally the only objective, there's no reason to do anything else. The irony is you can't just make gens take longer to repair either because doing gens is the absolute worst part of this game, just mindnumbing boredom holding down M1 and pressing spacebar every few seconds.

But the devs have fucked themselves too because the game is almost a decade old and half the fucking perks in the game are related to gens. Gen speedups, slowdowns, regressions, doing gens to activate your perk, doing gens to spend your perk, etc. They can't simply add a new objective that ISN'T gens to slow matches down.

I think the best hope we have right now is something like an additional gen-related objective. Like once a gen is repaired to 50% you need to go fetch a generator part that spawns somewhere on the map and bring it back to continue repairing. An extra 20-30 seconds per gen where you need to move around instead of just gen hugging until it's time to leave.

I just love the idea of like sentient forces of nature, shaping the world. What if there is an equal force of good with the same power as the entity? What if that forces is merely half of the entity, the tug of war of good and evil being simply another way for it to generate it's sustenance. I'd love to see the flipside of the entity an incomprehensible being of good, It's servants. One of them twisted, repurposed, to serve in the trials.

The anniversary event was almost the exact same last year. The only changes I know if is that some of the modifier thingies were nerfed, and remote hooking takes a few seconds instead of being instant, which they only changed because of bugs caused by it being instant. It's was overwhelmingly killer sided last year and BHVR didn't make anything survivor had stronger or anything killer had weaker, so now the queues are extremely long for killer and the mode is torture for survivor.

Almost every aura perk you can equip that shows auras to team mates will show the aura from any range, making it only worth using for yourself, except in the case of Kindred which will be useful for everyone. As for yourself, there aren't many auras you would want to extend the reach of that aren't already basically map wide. It's quite refreshing in it's simplicity. Cosmetic stores have a habit of devolving into sparkly, particle effect ridden messes that clash horribly with the game (this isn't new to DBD, of course). The blue suit and tiger mask are a bit flashy, but not overbearing. I think I'll snag it and mix and match it with other stuff.

It's not that I have an issue with paying money for them, it's just I've played DbD for so long that I don't need Iri shards for Shrine of Secrets since I have everything. it's been back and forth for years over which is better. having to walk around to reserve SB is annoying but it's much stronger against m2/mobility killers where you have to sprint to a stronger tile before they get near you. Lithe is a free escape if you can use it against low mobility killers but there's plenty of situations where you just wont have a nearby vault

It mostly just depends on which condition you find easier/less annoying.

I just re-read the lore, and it seems to go back as far as 1965, give or take. According to the internet, the first VHS tape in America dates to around 1977. I'm no porn historian, but I’d assume VHS porn would’ve become available pretty quickly after that—maybe within a year or so. It’s also possible it was Japanese porn originally. My guess is the clown got his hands on a tape sometime in the early ’80s. That would mean there’s a gap of at least 15 years in the lore where he was just wandering around, killing people, before the Entity finally got to him.
