Considering it's limited to Origin it's just gonna be a filler CDMG set for whichevef DPS needs it. It won't ever be best in slot. Very good for newbies if they keep it in the shop afterwards though.

The original Info Sheet had a few parts dedicated to character info but I think I'm gonna make a secondary sheet that has all the info I can dig up on each char.
Doing it manually would be insanely unreasonable so I'm writing a little side program to extract the data for me. It's going pretty well!

It shouldn't be a rare occurrence. Gacha games are always online, daily refreshing games. Keeping players attached and happy should be priority #1. Logging in and getting smashed because your old favs are useless is a miserable experience. To keep the most players for long term you should do balance patches while also releasing new strong characters that shift the meta and keep things interesting.

That's a really chill bracket. Your defense team must be really scary. I assume my group is all new players like myself so it's pretty active. I don't like PvP either but I think Eversoul does it correctly where it's a PvE mode with player made teams. And Champs Arena appeals to me, at least at the moment, because I can bypass the person's overleveled team and try to assassinate their other two teams. Arena however is pretty impossible to climb but rewards wise you just have to try for Top 50 really so I don't worry about it.

It's just a dead (but scary) bracket really. I think most of the top 10 players here have over a million CP higher than me so my defense would crumble against any serious attacker, but I think most of them are content to just chill and not rock the boat. I used to be fourth or fifth in CA but when people don't bother with it I think they get removed from the bracket, so now I ended up being 2nd passively.

For regular Arena I just stockpile tickets and spam them 5 minutes before reset on weak players to get 1st, people are actually active in that one and multiple do the same thing so it's kind of a gamble whether you'll get it or not.

Well for Arena I inevitably hit a player whose Defense is impossible for me to beat or I get unlucky and my carry just barely gets killed. You lose so many points for a single loss it basically cancels all the progress I make daily. Never in a position where I could spam last minute matches to get into the Top 10.
Btw already knocked down to 2nd by the guy whose been 1st for 90% of the time I've been playing.

Yeah, that's how it is near the high ranks, that's why when I spam tickets I only do it on weaker teams I know for sure I'll beat even if the point gain is low. I know I'll eventually run the stockpile of tickets dry but as long as it works I'll get my bag.

As for CA, since attackers have a huge advantage, the optimal play is not to be able to defend properly but to be annoying enough by attacking constantly and taking the spot back until they give up wasting their time on it and take a lower rank. It's not exactly what I'd consider a fun or good use of your time but it certainly works.

Well at the end of the day Arena rewards are good and they pile up fast into free souls. And the gameplay being player favoured rather than deepest pockets favoured makes it less miserable to play. My first gacha is basically purely PvP focused at this point where my investments don't hold a candle to buying the latest thing and there's no time to breathe between the next latest thing. Eversoul is such a nice change of pace, not that it doesn't have problems too. Game should be way more popular than it is. Nice guys always finish last I suppose.

I used Onyx on my Aki team to assassinate his triple Idol + double Chaos team. Onyx increases team damage to Chaos units so Tasha stun + Jhio Mir splashing + Aki Double Moonslash 1 shot his CMephi the moment the battle started. Undeads don't have a great support so I think Yuria makes the most sense to help run a Human team over. Both comps there are extremely squishy, if Mephi gets to press her Main skill I've seen her lineup an instant 3 kill so felt good to see Sigrid get the extendo lance out just in time to skewer two Ark admins.

It's pretty slick but the comp is very squishy. Was doing great in Arena and then it stopped working, losing me all my progress. Kamuy surviving with 5 HP and then placing a Wolf in the middle of my 5 units ain't fun. But yes, Tasha buffs and rolling a couple Onyx have been a big boost.
Champs Arena has gone very well for me. Been Top 10 for the most part in my grouping for weeks now. But yes I'm new, been playing for about 1 month and 2 weeks so it's a kiddie pool with fellow new players.

Well Releasing them gets you materials you can use in the shop to buy another chance at an Epic Soul you need. Depends what you value more, fodder for upgrading or another chance at the Soul you want, but both progress your account so it's not a big loss either way.
