Switched to aggro sword from portal (which was losing to everything at this point). Immediately went back to diamond, and won my AA2 trials 2-0. Portal is the 4th best deck right, if even that.

First day is always toughest but the last day is easy because everyone who cared already qualified. If you select a deck for a run and don't complete it that day, it carries over into the next without affecting that day's limit. I like doing that to maximize the amount of runs each day and having an extra one on the final day

Sword even with my limited resources feels decent if not a bit linear.
Have issues recovering from boardwipes, but it is what it is.
Hope I'll get some orchis and puppet cards in the future too.
I'll link this and spend some on the starter packs, will see how things go. I'd like to play Haven, Dragon, Puppet and Rune in the future as well, so most of those legendaries aren't wasted either.

How do people track their opponent's portal pieces effectively? Faeries and puppets are pretty straightforward, but the pieces are annoying due to how many and how many different types they are.

The real problem is that Haven has a really bad time dealing with the roach combo plan. Haven's draws don't matter much in the match up, if you draw like shit, you generally don't get aggroed down so fast that you're fucked. But even if you draw like a god, forest has all the answers to you since they can clear your sticky followers easily. Your damage is reliant on burst instead of continual pressure so you don't generally manage to force out many resources before they're able to roach combo you through your wards and heals. You just play Haven solitaire and hope Forest doesn't nut, all the agency in the match up is on Haven's side.
