It's not that I'm criticizing the idea that Rodion can indeed put on KoD's EGO gear, but her entire attitude towards working with the Abnormality is cringe as fuck.
KoD's sense of pride never came from some self-assured notion that she was always the most important individual in any circumstance. Rodion does hold this notion, and it makes her vibes feel uncanny and incongruous to KoD's whole deal. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote her like this to kneecap and undermine KoD's presence in the advent of QoH Don.
