How do you do that much damage as skyraider?
Besides don't be vs tricera shooting down your msisiles. Is there a trick to getting the cluster missile thing to track better? Usually only 3-4 missiles go out to seek the target.

I think the actual carry mech isn't welkin, but panther. Panther can actually kill the healer, and can also kill aquila quickly. Any time I've had a pro panther on my team it was a total shutout, and presence of enemy welkin didn't matter.

It's a matter of distance and angle.
The easiest way to achieve it is to simply jump once and then melee.
It requires a lock-on on the target.
You know you've done it right because the animation and speed is different from a regular boost-attack.

If I knew one was on the enemy team i'd switch from serenith because there is nothing I can do about them. I can reasonably fight every mech at varying odds but with stellaris its always 0% chance of winning unless they are really bad because I can't lock onto them quick enough to disrupt due to their stealth and I can't get away because I am stunned forever and they just grapple halfway across the map while invisible if I do pull range.

I've only ran into maybe 2 people with high level guns in around 10 hours of extreme. For 6v6 and 3v3 you don't need to buy or farm shit, most mechs are unlocked right away (you'll only need to grind or pay to unlock 3 latest ones).
Extraction mode is a clusterfuk where you can try to pay your way into winning.

Falcon, but bots have perfect aim anyways and are only restricted by firing angles as far as I can tell. So I'd have to be directly above one to not get hit. It's the same when dealing with something like the Trooper Dropship's initial laser shot that seems to only have a 180 degree cone in front of it, while something like the attack helicopter's rare 5+ laser barrage is a little harder to figure out and has an occasional shot or two miss, but is otherwise very accurate no matter your manuever.

As far as Skyraider goes, I don't think Welkin is that bad. Energy bomb kills the box so you get to escape with your life which is more than most other mechs can say, and Alysnes is probably good. You just bomb them to death but i just go do something else instead of wasting my time with them. no, but if you drop it it'll hit some people
if you really want to hit people behind you, you can loop and fire the box during the arc. Looping in general is a really effective tool to reposition, and it gives you time to shoot at people while they can't hit you back

you can harass heavies easily by spamming the loop and repeatedly charged shooting them
obviously the alt fire missile is really good against heavies but especially turrets and you can blindfire it. Even if stego puts down the smoke, you can just aim the missile at where the stego is to hit it
the missile box fires differently at low altitudes, it travels in a straight line before exploding. At high altitudes it arcs down. If you hold it before firing you can also preemptively lock on to targets with it, but it'll generally lock onto enemies right in front of where it explodes
the jamming missile prevents lock on, but it also blocks energy weapon damage if you shoot through it, which isn't super practical but is good in some scenarios
