Dclimb is nothing compared to dshift, roach is weaker even as good as it is, there's no sign of other hard wincons like seraph, and even soft wincons that put you on a timer are less pronounced. They want game length to be more variable by having strong aggro and strong control options I think to avoid the Shadowverse 1 problem of every meta being on a very strict timer

Cards-wise I got everything I needed from the set at around 150 rolls and only used a few vials, but I don't play all decks (only rune and haven mostly)
I went to 250 for soft pity and got a ton of vials in the process
Strictly gameplay-wise it's probably not worth it to go to 250 because unless you want to play all 7 crafts you will have all you need and/or enough vials to get all your chase cards way before 250. This will be even more true next set because the card pool is apparently only 77 cards, which means you will get everything you need from the set even faster than current set.

I just went 2-2. Loss against aggro which is fair enough, I literally can't do anything about that without any healing or wards but that other loss was horrible. I think I played correctly for the ten turns it went for, but I just never draw any roaches or godwood staffs with my opponent prepped to die at 13 health.

I think it's a terrible deck to bring to any sort of GP/tournament because if the opponent high rolls you often lose and there's a lot of aggro decks brought to those, it's not like playing in higher ranks where it's a lot of slower or midrange decks.
The aggro decks being down in ruby and sapphire is probably the saving grace of Rune on ladder since they don't care if they win as much, it's about banging out fast games.

Laura+Mukan on 7 (if you have 8 shadows) deals 6 (maybe 7 if you don't need ghost to clear) to face and clears up to two things. It's basically alternative to olivia mummy which does heal and draw but can only clear 1 follower. paving another path to win with cerb

you can put all the pressure you want, they're still gonna drop godwood at 3, lambent cairn at 4 and glade at 5
and they're still gonna draw roach, bayle and carbuncle
and you cannot remove them from their hand

and even if you put all the pressure in the world at turn 7 they otk you through 7 wards
