its almost always a worse evo target than glade (or lily), and just the fanfare is ok going first if your board gets removed (really bad if it didnt) but really weak going second
what i dont like about guidance is that historically playing even a single 2 cost card instead of a 1 cost made it a lot harder to activate combos in forest, but it might be ok since lily is stronger than anything we had in the past

I finished the story, did most all the solo mode stuff and feel like there is nothing to do because I lack the cards for variety.
Too used to having everything in old shadowverse.
Do I just play 2-5 games a day for my missions and thats it?

If you play a deck with a win con in the first place. My favourite matchup in SV1 was no-wincon CBlood mirror. It was a very strategic matchup where you had to plan many turns ahead because drawing even a single card more than you need could result in you decking out, but drawing too few cards could result in the enemy simply killing you as you run out of removal. Every decision, even drawing a single card, had to be deeply weighted in that matchup.

it's a low skill meta where your objective is to pump out as many suicide bombers to try to rush down the enemy hp before they can respond (prevalence of storm in current meta)

3. Stall meta
this is where shadowverse is headed towards
it's the opposite of aggro meta
it's not interesting to watch, or play
both players skip turns 1-5 then vomit a board of unkillable creatures
then they stall until one or the other runs out of cards

Roach
A gem deck, a combo deck that's really hard to play. The deck sometimes loses to itself due to a bad draw, but it definitely doesn’t play solitaire. When you're playing it, you're fighting for your life using little fairies—it's really hardcore. I expect this deck to stop existing in 7 days, sadly.
Portalcraft Artifact
Also a gem deck, with an overwhelming amount of decision-making involved. I’d say it’s unfun to fight because the deck is clearly overtuned with Sylvia and Orchis. It would be fairer if Orchis weren’t allowed.
Portalcraft Puppet
The most boring—pure stalling. It can't win without Orchis. I hope they make this archetype more interesting with the new cards.

That's pitiful compared to the bullshit rune and forest can do, and sword can do 1 less damage than you with 0 set up with just 1 Albert on 9. On top of that the expansion is only giving Portal a single shitty artifact card it won't even run.

I don't even want Abyss control, and honestly it seems pretty decent at hanging in for longer games. I'm more upset that its early and especially middle turns are so bad. I don't like Control and I don't really care that the game doesn't want us to have resilient followers or fucking anything worth playing on turn 4. The best use of regular evo points for me is fucking Aragavy burn and that feels terrible.

My last lobby tournament match. I didn't think I would lose from this position with full hp and he only had 6 cards in hand (one of which I knew was the 0pp spell). In hindsight, I should've used demonic call and kill the last fairy on the board since he needed that exact lethal. I wanted to save my own board space though because I wanted to summon the big shikigami next turn...
My topaz was showing so much this tournament. I misplayed so often. This wasn't even the only time I gave my opponent their only out to win the game...

I was thinking about SV1 decks mostly, which had a shit ton of "quest" combo decks in its lifespan.
SV WB only has Roach and Rune for combo decks right now (which are tame compared to SV1 combo decks to be fair), but you can already feel the design isn't much different from SV1 with "Tanaka-san has to finish the game by turn 10 at most" philosophy design.

Yep, it's really bad and it's insane to me that people get mad about it and want it nerfed.
Some people are so desperate for a way to do damage they put fucking Satan in it.
However, it can also win games off of really good turns 1-4 meaning you only need one Orchis, or running an aggro deck out of steam. But those are both you relying on your opponent to not get their gameplan, puppet doesn't get to have a gameplan of its own.
