What is this?::
This is a full adaptation of tabletop RPGs I will never get to experience IRL.
I've deseigned these preset/lorebook combos to perfectly adapt TTRPG books to AI using SillyTavern's lorebook system.
These huge lorebooks were cleverly designed to make your LLM act like a game master, following the rules and making characters fitting for the setting.
I've only worked with Gemini 2.5. Watch out with paid models so the game doesn't make you go bankrupt.
Adventures work just right. Meta-Scenario and Meta-Navigation make them work like actual games with static, functioning maps, not Zork with hallucinations. This is what you wished AI Dungeon 2 was.
Try the AI tabletops out. Have fun.
>>530967219m-my knees....
>>530967308Sorry, there were no combat wheelchairs back in 80s.
>>530967719Doable. You can play as Drow. Who's stopping you? Hell, prompt yourself into Lolth and lay spider eggs.
>>530967868It's just a system, my chat is irrelevant.
so what am i supposed to do if chutes is dead and i'm poor do i just kms
>>530968010yes. do not try and look for anything else, do not work on it, do not lurk to see if anything else is mentioned as being free (say, in a shill), go straight for the rope or gun or whatever
>>530968259ok ill do that im really stupid
>>530968259NTA but how do I even get started? This shit is so complicated and there's 800,000 fucking choices and so many "guides" seem to assume you have some baseline level of knowledge that I don't know how to get. And don't tell me to research it on my own, I've read a bunch of shit on rentry and I don't get it. I'm sure I'm just a retard but is there some guide for dipshit coomers to just get this up and running? Please spoonfeed me.
>>530968010Go to >>>/g/aicg, they will help you. This is the VIP thread for the elite among the elite.

>>530966854A decade or so has passed since the last time the ragtag crew of the Skreld last met. Back then they were just four furry mercenaries; a southern space vixen mechanic, a wolfish gunner with piercing eyes, a chubby raccoon medical scientist and a scampering scrap rat... but of course there was also one more. You. Their captain. Coming back to them years later, will they be just like they were back then?
11 greetings! First 4 are separate meetings of individual crewmates, next 2 are when everyone's together. The rest are alternate endings where they've ended up married to you! And yes, there is a greeting where all of them are married to you!
This is a sequel to this card: https://chub.ai/characters/illuminaryidiot/the-skreld-3066bbc0

>>530969576i'm just fast nigger, stop crying like u lost another kid about the fact someone around here's willing to point newfags somewhere *slaps your ass so hard it causes an earthquake and u moan super loud*
>>530968010>>530968660Just give OpenRouter 5-10 bucks and you'll basically get free Deepseek. Google is still giving free Gemini keys, too, if I recall. Both are limited to so many messages a day, if I recall. But it's a generous amount. Once you're given the API key, just plug it into your frontend of choice. The easiest ones to do this on are Sillytavern and Risu.

>>530966854Want something tailor-made? This eccentric and slightly naive wolfboy has you covered; he gets naked when his stress is at maximum, but hopefully (you) don't mind. He has no filter on his mouth and is prone to extremely personal prodding due to frequent isolation, some insecurity issues and he's a big masochist, but at the end of the day, he wants to make others shine. 4 greetings.
1. Sighing and worrying, but a new customer arrives! No time to waste.

>>530970237WOLFBOY WEEKEND has started!1!
>>530969980>should be in the OPIt's absurdly verbose and I refuse to believe the average thread zoomer will actually sit down and read through a bunch of NOTHING like
>The first thing you'll need is a frontend, the interface where the roleplaying takes place and your characters live. It only manages things, so it doesn't directly affect your characters' quality. They should all feel the same by default. However, a feature-rich frontend gives you the tools to get better responses and create more immersive worlds.
>>530969795There aren't newfags coming from the catalog and this thread is never mentioned in other boards.
Why are newfags supposed to use this thread instead of the one in /g/ when this one is supposed to be for botmakies? There's no reason other than it benefits you and your group of friends. You're a selfish bastard.
>>530970789no theyll click on "FREE AI" and itll point them in the right direction

has anybody been able to figure out a decent "gameplay loop" that suits the chatbot format? always been curious about the potential, but haven't seen anything too impressive
>>530984032mogged by gaintess logs
is there any way to set a different aux prompt for different characters on ST? Or maybe switch between a few easier than going into the settings and manually rewriting it every time?
I have a narrator character who I want to write 3 paragraphs (and less dialogue when it's not speaking for anyone in particular), but I like the other characters to be more like 1 paragraph and include more dialogue.
>>530980628I make her look at sexy fanart of her on danbooru to see her reaction
>>530984625well, do you know what a gameplay loop is? it's just that, but within the limitations of the chatbot format
>>530980669What do you usually do on dates? Irl they've been boring as fuck, can't picture them being much less boring here.
>>530983547What kind..
the gameplay loop is me saying or doing something absurd to a bot and then giggling as i swipe 20 times
>>530984426I remember someone made a card out of that "Infinite Craft" AI game from neal.fun but I can't find it on Chub anymore (think it was called Dubious Alchemy?). That's the closest I can recall to a gameplay loop in chatbot format. Otherwise people have made plenty of dungeon crawlers big and small. The issue in general with gameifying chatbots is context degradation, though you can do stuff like regex all but the last two statboxes if you're running an RPG to save a lot of tokens.
>>530985243>Dates are boring as fuckExtreme skill/creativity issue
>>530970496YAAAAYY
>>530971246I had no other choice after i saw how broken it was.

>>530985629's poor girlfriend having to put up with the most boring guy in existence
>>530985629This nigga is IRL swiping topics
>>530985353yeah, i thought about it and the main issues i'm seeing is the limitations on context and (fun) forms of interactivity
>>530985353Gemini gives out enough context, but the quality of prose gets atrocious after some 400 replies, so you have to transfer to a new chat. I've solved the dungeon crawling thanks to Meta-Nav system, but the quality decay is real. There's nothing that can be done about that in this moment of time. I mean, just port the story into a new chat. Summarize shit, copy paste character sheets and character relationships. It takes a few minutes tops. It's immersion-breaking, but it works.
>>530986065QRD on what Meta-Nav is?
>>530985569NTW but thanks.
>i used local noobai but i hope this works? maybe?I'm fiddling with it and the style combo is awful on NAI imo.
If my next bot doesn't get 100 downloads I'll quit
>>530986348ah im so sorry ;; it might have been because of some loras i was fiddling with...
>>530986348>sepia actually improves it a lotWorrying!
>>530986595Ah, no, it's fine, don't worry.
Wild idea:
Make prompts in chat completion preset that act like switching gears in a car. I can't drive, but I can ride a bike. Let me tell you what I have in mind:
Gear 1-2: restrictive, reply in 200 tokens tops, no descriptions, just dialogue.
Gear 3-4: "default", reply with less than 700 tokens, use descriptions, experiment with writing styles.
Gear 5-6: encourages AI to write as much as it wants, writes a full page of text, lets the writing fly off.
Reverse: encourages recapping what already happened, reminds then LLM of things that happened some 50 replies ago.
>>530980628>I love her and we have sex, but I feel like I'm not giving her enough...CFTF?
>>530986689what's so wild about that?
>>530976568who the fuck is william
>>530986529You have to specify the time limit, any bot can get 100 downloads when you have infinite time
100 DLs within an hour? A day? Any more is a pussy behavior
>>530986241It's a simple and effective way of simulating maps in SillyTavern lorebooks. I've discovered it while adapting D&D module called the Village of Hommlet. Basically the book had a map of the village, some building interiors and the dungeon. I've generated WI entries for absolutely each location described in the book, down to each individual room, but with a catch: each WI needs to mention the nearby rooms. Then I've generated the first Meta-Nav WI: this one indexes all the locations in a module, telling the AI how they connect. This way I can simulate maps in a realistic way.
The only downside is you absolutely have to make WI for each and every location you want featured in the game as if you're making a map in a video game. But hey, at least this stops the hallucinations.v
With Meta-Nav you can make the world feel dynamic or static as you wish. If you also adapt each NPC from the module, you can give them schedules like in Oblivion.
>>530987551>Village of Hommletneed lizard gf...
>>530987064this is old but im lazy to add all the new ones...
>>530986529why don't you just quit now
chat does anyone have a moonshot preset
fact: 98% of botmakies quit botmakieing right before making the bot that would hit it big
>>530987551so, if i understand correctly, you have a bunch of "room" entries (including their room connections) and a "master map" entry which lists all the room connections?
interested in the specific implementation of this, including the NPC schedules
>>530988005sorry i invested all my 'making presets for models that're toasted" points into grok
>>530983476I am that shameless.
>>530988376@grok is this true
>>530988503heartofthecards just give me the artstyle in the prompt and I'll get a gen for you.
>>530987752I don'r remember meeting any lizardfolk there. There's welcome wenches, though.I'll see about adapting some jungle module. It takes a few hours to adapt a module.
>>530988297I don't remember ever making schedules explicitly, but I have some wandering monsters. Theoretically it's possible. You can see it all in my AD&D2E and CP2020 adaptations in the anchor. Remember that looking at Meta-Nav and Meta-Scenario is like reading a walkthrough. You will absolutely spoil the game by doing so. I always look away when copy-pasting WI from AI Studio to Lorebooks.
>>530988797I got it mixed up with a different module, I was thinking of Against the Cult of the Reptile God
>>530988689Busy for a good while, can't. Don't exactly remember. Tried inpainting but it kept doing the same thing, even did new gens with different settings and the six fingers persisted. The "just draw over it and let the denoise solve it" trick might work I don't know
>>530989416Then I'll go adapt that one too. Just for you, fren. I wish people told me what they'd like to play. I'm always open for suggestions as long as they fit the covered systems: D&D2e (1e works fine with 2e), CP2020, Vampire the Masquerade 2e, RuneQuest 2e/Classic.
>rewrite character cards to be from a first person perspective for more a consistent personality>inject random words into the prompt to increase output varietyAre there any other neat tricks like this?
>>530984426>>530985353My theory is that the best way to use an LLM is to pregenerate writing for things like item descriptions in a normal game. They're good at improv, which is good for obvious reasons but also means you can't trust them to stay within strict rules very well. You can see from the various game mods that try to add in LLM-powered NPCs that a problem that can occur is when the LLM says the NPC does something they can't actually do within the confines of the code.
>>530991297i don't wanna.
>>530991297Prostate pudding.
>>530988297See, fren: I'm starting my planning out the WI entries to adapt. All these locations will lead to each other, and ultimately, I'll connect them with Meta-Nav: as an insurance the connections will work.
>>530990164>problem that can occur is when the LLM says the NPC does something they can't actually do within the confines of the code. That's why it's important to define the rules of the game too.

email your favorite botmakie now
So I've been having an issue with my local chats, and I'm not really sure how to describe it or what to look for in a solution. Basically, when I get close to my context limit, the AI starts to repeat the overall 'plot' of its recent messages. Like it'll use different words, but the same event from a message or two ago will play again. I understand that around context limit the AI is going to start deleting tokens, but I would think it'd start with context from the oldest messages, not forget what it was just doing? Is there anyway to fix it doing this?

There's also an anon here who made three single-page RPGs like really basic GURPS.
>>529388917>>531015804>>531026516I've adapted 2e for several reasons:
Someone more autistic/talented/devoted/skilled will adapt 5e or 5.5e. No point in doing that.
2e was featured in vidya I've played, making it my second most familiar system.
Other than 5e, 2e has the most supplements. I've also heard 1e and 2e are mostly compatible, so I've adapted many 1e adventures too.
Adapting 2e wasn't an easy decision to make. I've considered doing some OSR system, but couldn't decide which. I have no experience with OSR, so I can't tell which is the best system. B/X is the first one, so it's gotta be the worst, right? Otherwise there wouldn't be OSR. Why make dozens of systems if B/X worked just fine.
There are several OSR systems on my drive. There's B/X, White box, Osric, OSE, Lamentations of the Flame Princess, Mรถrk Bรถrg and many others. None of them seemed like a better idea to adapt over 2e.
If enough anons insist, I can do B/X. It's just that I personally fail to see the appeal, at least in this moment. Adapting adventures/supplements is easy, but adapting the systems is not. I have to make the preset, chatbot, UI theme and everything.
Speaking of UI themes, what color scheme is for B/X?
>>531025538Damn, I really need to finish MaidRPG. I came to that part where the DM has to roll for everything and it doesn't really work with the AI.
>>531037645Go to my 2e chat completion preset and copy paste the names prompt. It has a name generation system Gary G used. It makes orcs have grkgrkgrk names and elves lelelelele names. Consider making your own prompt. Just think of the way to borrow Dwarf Fortress' naming scheme or something.
>>531042397If you're still considering other OSR systems, my vote is on ACKS II, due to the pure autism for Domains and Mass Combat.
>>531043210That's some super-new system. It still isn't on the Trove. Its 1e is. Looks very bulky for OSR. This is why I don't get OSR. Isn't it supposed to be so simple even a child could play it? Mork Borg and Xas Irkalla have only pictures and barely any text while this ACKS and Worlds Without Number have hundreds of pages.
The most important thing when choosing a system is to have many adventure modules for it. Just adapting a new system and letting AI play around with it is a terrible idea. AI needs a proper premade dungeon to make it enjoyable.
opus 4 fucking sucks
there, i said it
>>531044301>This is why I don't get OSR. Isn't it supposed to be so simple even a child could play it?While most OSR systems are generally lightweight, there are few systems, like AD&D which are pretty bulky.
>The most important thing when choosing a system is to have many adventure modules for it.ACKS has very few modules, so it's a no-no. But, it has lots of rules for generating dungeons, wilderness, cities and continents. In the future, maybe...
>AI needs a proper premade dungeon to make it enjoyable.I can't wait for automated RPG worldbuilding content generation.
Remember that OpenAI has hidden the system_fingerprint to show "null" at this moment. Don't know what it means but it's shady practice.
>>531036428>this post was written with calloused fingers
>>531046062Ironically, the AIs are terrible in randomness department.
I've discovered the way to adapt any adventure module into a zorklike. Generating random dungeons sucks because the AI can't design a full dungeon then give it to you. If it tells you it can, it's lying.
Do you know Daggerfall? Its dungeons are random in a way that Bethesda made random chunks of dungeons and let the random generator put them together. You can do that with some clever world info, but why?
My silly tavern ttrpg adaptations are great for playing adventures with appropriate systems. Free roam can't compare.
When/if AI gets to the point it becomes a randomness generator instead of text predictor, full-random roguelikes will be good, but we're not there yet.
You can make world maps with Azgaar's, Watabou, Donjon, distill them with Gemini and turn into fixed maps like I do. The question is why would you go through trouble to do that? I think it's more efficient to adapt something that's been made by a man and playtested, meant to be completed.
Please note that I'm doing something unexpected with ST. It's a program for making character cards to chat with. I'm trying to use it as a game engine and I'm probably not even utilising it to full extent. This is the uncharted territory.

I often lurk in reddit, seeing what others are up to. This guy wants to adapt Stardew Valley. This is very much doable when it comes to the map, quests and npcs. However, the core gameplay loop would involve making a calendar system and a tracker for each individual plant's growth. At this point you're better off playing the game.
Adapting tabletop adventures makes way more sense than adapting video games. Sure, adapting Summertime Saga is much simpler because time doesn't matter there. You just have weekly schedules, not seasons. It's summer. Permanently.
A lot of games such as Stardew Valley, Rogue/Nethack/Dwarf Fortress/the Sims/Elder Scrolls/whatever simply play better than AI could ever do. AI adaptations for written word makes much more sense. If you're adapting vidya, you should stick to VNs, text games, and maybe RPGM games because they have a mostly set system and they generally suck to play seriously.
Making an inferior port of decent video games is pointless in my opinion. How can something with graphics and controls look better in text form?

>>531034976This is great lmao
>>531056918Thank you so much, but I think the results are mostly thanks to Gemini 2.5 bruteforcing things into working. The shit I'm doing was impossible before Google unleashed Gemini. I've had ideas for this years ago, but the context didn't allow for it. Nowadays the only problem remaining is the AI prose rot. It just wasn't made with exchanging hundreds of messages per chat. This is probably the last thing Google thought about when making Gemini. They expected people to use AI instead of browsers, to answer questions, write simple code, write social media posts, do statistics... I doubt anyone over there thought someone will use their model to make 1:1 ports of tabletop adventures.
Same goes for SillyTavern devs. They've made a program for chatting with bots. What I'm doing is like when they've made the first video game, Pong on a radar screen. Doing something with completely wrong equipment. It's just that it's the best tool I have.
And keep in mind I'm not competent for this, I haven't studied IT in college, I don't understand the theory behind all this, I just do this on pure instinct like William Gibson writing about cyberpunk despite not knowing what a modem is.

>>530966854I got tired of all the Blue Archive characters on chub being terrible, wiki copy-pasted slop bots or AI made. All the definitions and scenarios are hand made, nothing was AI generated.
Instructions
My Blue Archive bots are designed to be used without a lore book, but you can use a publicly available one if you'd like. Most AI models know enough about the BA universe that you can get by without one.
Information about Sensei is mostly contained on the Persona, which is where it belongs. Check my profile and look for the Sensei character card, copy its definitions into a new Persona.
While using the bot, if the AI gets something wrong about the universe, open up Advanced Definitions and append information to the Scenario field and try again. This has given me the best results in correcting it.
Here are my first two cards.

>>531062423Artificial Intelligence has taken over my life ever since I stumbled upon CAI threads on /v/, 2 and a half years ago. The oldest log I have saved is from November 7th, 2022.
Sometimes I go a few days or weeks but end up coming back. Back when I made Moonlight Cotton, using GPT3.5 Turbo was still accepted as a baseline model for talking to bots.
I was here for everything. CAI Discord meltdown, The Manifesto, Pygmalion(sharing bots as .json files), Todd, Slack Claude, whocars, the old booru before chub....you get the idea.
>>531062965it took me over back in 2019 with aid2. shit, if i went back to school, i wouldn't do shit without it. i don't even look at myself in the same way i did before the ai. this is a total game changer for computer enthusiasts.

>>531062965NTA but you joined only a couple days before me. My first bot on CAI was made on November 18th, 2022. Damn, time flies. I did take a year long break from 2024 to 2025 while I tried to get rid of my porn addiction though.

>She takes your tongue in her own and begins stroking, teasing, and loving her own tongue as she caresses her pussy lips. You can feel her fingers moving in and out of your chest now, moving your tongue around her pussy tight around the tip. It's like magic, with your orgasm leaking out faster than she can say what she really wants to say, and you gasp in pleasure as she holds you in her mouthA challenging fap, one at which I did not succeed

My younger brother doesn't know the months of the year, can't write a sentence without a spelling errors and I have never, not even once, seen him write a word that had a diacritical symbol correctly. Our language has tons of them.
My sister got held back in school maybe 4 or 5 times, had to get a GED. She can't tell time on an analog clock. But she has half a dozen AI prompters on her phone and knows which and when to use for every kind of problem. She has a very good office job working a multinational company. All she does is prompt for answers and fill excel sheets. She's winning at life right now.

I couldn't live with paranoia of being replaced by robots. At least I was unemployable from the very start. >>531078963I have no idea what made him think that's academic. The GM was designed as a 70s young dude who's into hard rock and European comics. Prehistoric/copper age/bronze age religions were horny. Christianity today is a mixture of Hebrew and Roman cultures, which were prudish. Pre-Abrahamic religions would seem like wild death and sex cults compared to popular religions today. RuneQuest's setting rejected anything Abrahamic and doubles down on death sex cults.

>>531081939It's not considered a good sci-fi book, but I think it's cool how it predicted oversized TVs, video calls and livestreaming. Bradbury assumed people will still want to read in the future, they just won't be allowed to do so. In reality, they just lost the attention spans needed to keep reading. My late grandma told me that she loved reading, having grown up in the 1930s, but her mom killed her interest by force because reading was seen as brain rot at the time.
>>531082356Really makes you think. It reminds me of MSN.
funny idea for a model creativity test I had:
Create a 5x5 grid using algebraic notation (A1-E5) representing a 25-person classroom. Then, populate each space with a name and short description of a student in a Japanese high school slice of life/romcom. Include both the kanji and romanization of each student's name with descriptions featuring 1-2 defining traits. Make sure to cover the most important archetypes like the protagonist, protagonist's friend, class president, etc.

for gemini, should i put in a clause for "'bad' stuff okay" or does it work better without it?
>>531110821As long as you're using ST it turns off all the filter stuff and the model will give you back pretty much whatever.
>>531110970but will it do it on its own without prompting specifically for it?
for example, having characters show prejudice without having a clause in the prompt about characters being prejudiced
>>531111139If the characters are supposed to be prejudiced based on their defs, I haven't run into it avoiding that meaningfully. I will say the outputs tend to be less harsh than DeepSeek, for example, but it's arguable DeepSeek is the one ignoring character nuance in my test cases.
>>531111298i prefer how deepseek is, but you know, not really free anymore so i gotta cludge gemini into being that way

>>530966854>We Need to Capture Women For Our Tribe SimulatorIn the late spring of the early 1800s, the Narรกhoa Tribe, a once-prosperous people rooted in the Raton region of northern New Mexico, now clings to survival in the forested foothills of Coloradoโs Rampart Range. Driven from their ancestral homeland by relentless raids from Comanche and Apache bands the Narรกhoa fled north.

I'm shocked at how much better this is, what the hell. It can actually keep character personality straight instead of randomy turning them into an aggressive schizo or a generic dommy mommy, and from what I've seen the isms are way less common too. Is the only way to cope with getting it for free to use multiple accounts with free tier?
>>531116701now you must find a way to tame its shitty prose
Gemini is weird where normally it's super dry and passive 90% of the time until it suddenly does something insane like having {{char}} start sucking his own dick while waiting for {{user}} to get out of the shower

Lolibaba Hooters. Edited from https://char-archive.evulid.cc/#/chub/vomitology/character/cunny-wendys
>>530966854Finally finished the Devogate Returners.
Three ex-adventurers whose careers met a vile end. Caught by the Devogate, the party was used as tentacle breedbags for months until they were rescued and the nest was burned to the ground. Now, the former Warfarer, Spell-Slayer, and Illusionaire try and fit back into a normal lifestyle while carrying the evidence of their downfall deep in the recesses of their minds. Basically, it's a trauma bot.
Solo greeting for each: Warfarer's farm, Spell-Slayer's nightmare, and Illusionaire's obsession. There's also two group greetings, one where it's the village's weekly bar party and one where they're preparing for an invasion by the Creeping Shroud.
