Can we all agree KH1 is significantly more difficult than KH2? I was able to gold crown KH2 while remaining level 1 and can't make it past guard armor on level 1.

A thousand times yes. Days pacing was always be completely fucked, the mission structure works in a mobile game but is super boring in a console release. This game has so much reused content it's unreal, even CoM and coded can't compete. It would need a lot more new stuff to get interesting including that scrapped Prankster's Paradise world.

I only recently actually pushed through and played Re:COM for more than fifteen minutes. Finished the game.
I will not touch it again in further series replays. What a pile of ass that game is. Loved the story, hated the gameplay especially at the end starting with the Vexen fight.
I wish they made that one the "movie" and gave us Days as the second playable game on the 1.5 HD remix.
Oh well. On to KH2, on to experiencing nostalgic erections caused by Olette and Namine and the best version of Kairi.

There's a pretty big gulf between a rhythm minigame and a full game dedicated to the mechanics

MoM is pretty much a perfect first rhythm game, it has an incredibly low skill floor so just about anyone can do it, and it has maybe the smoothest difficulty escalation that I've ever seen in a rhythm game going from the lowest-difficulty charts to the highest, which cap out at a pretty good difficulty compared to other games which start at a higher skill floor.

It took me this long to get into the story behind the mobile games. I knew about them, but like most, never bothered to play. I knew the story was crucial, so I just finished watching Everglow's UX cutscene video. Damn, it's pretty good. I'm about to check out Dark Roads next. I hope those games will be remade someday. If you time it right, doing a Waterga right before the finisher stops you from dropping combos with the dragoon jump. the next tier up is fun as hell too. This right here. The memories still exist, they just aren't linked anymore since they contradict with the memories that weren't the results or extensions with fake links.

These are all extremely good things. In fact. I hope the prologue is 10 hours long and very slow paced and that we get multiple such slice of life sections throughtout the game

It was better in DDD even if it didn't transition into normal attacks as well but then they nerfed it in Kh3 and just made it worse. Honestly the real problem is less that it's OP and more that enemies can't counter it. Enemies in general need to step up the game and be more challenging.
