Its why the fact that it finally cracked Top 5 for one month was amazing.

The closest thing OCG has gotten to something brand new since Rush released is Ritual Pendulum, which is a mechanic that has barely been explored with a grand total of 4 cards released ever. We don't get new mechanics (and in the rare instances we do, its barely explored), we don't get new rarities, we just barely started getting alt arts and everything is designed to be as safely developed within the confines of the game as possible.

Chaos Progression:
It will be a progression series, but the twist is that the order cards are added into the pool will be random. The ban system will be a little more complex, like AMC, anyone can ban anything, but they can also limit or semi-limit cards. All bans/limits/semi-limits will only last for 5 weeks. However, they can be permanent if the player can show that it has ever been on an offical banlist (TCG, OCG, Master Duel, Duel Links), so if a player wants, they can ban pot of greed forever, but a ban on Ash Blossom would expire after 5 weeks.
The way cards would be added it the pool is by a roll chart of 91 possible packs, decks, or special promos. The first week would roll 5 times, and then if it isn't at least 200 cards we would keep rolling till we hit it. After that, every week would just roll twice. As for what would be on the roll chart, I'll just let the thread pick 91 sets, and then fill in the blanks afterwards. The winner of each tournament would get to pick the new sets to be added to that chart next.
This is only a basic outline with a lot of kinks to work out, but I feel like it has potential.
