Explain to me how convenience items like mailbox and bank mule are P2W. Every mob and item still drops their loot table with the exact same percentages, you deal the same damage, you don't get any new consumables, your combat performance in PvE and PvP stays the same. All it does is save you time when you'd need to empty your bags when farming, or carry a lot of OS gear with you instead of HS'ing out and moving back. The game is perfectly playable with 4x16 slot bags you can buy from AH for literal nothing and by carrying x10 of each consume in your inventory.

Turtle does claim that Nord is in the UK but you are also correct in that the US and UK have mutual copyright agreements. US companies sue in UK courts all the time, and vice versa.

So if the physical hardware is in the UK, and thus being rented from some legit business entity in the UK, then the following scenario would easily apply:

Well that's easily doable but also quite inefficient in terms of ping and resource, afaik. I am not a networking expert, so not exactly sure just how inefficient that would be, but obviously there would be a loss in ping at the very least.

But besides using proxies, I don't see how they (Turtle or Epoch) could get away with using a UK data center. And why they would even want to in the first place. As much as I think making raids hard is gay, if I have to be "Mr. Glass Half Full" I can say that this at least might make grinding PVP worth it, as well as crafting, or something else.
On Turtle every method of obtaining gear besides raids is laughable, since raids are easy, there are many fully progressed guilds, etc. You just join a random guild and get fed insane quality gear fast.

So basically my initial raction to how Epoch is handling raids was negative, and I am still skeptical, but I have been proven wrong before, so I might end up enjoying this in some way. Time will tell.
