Am I crazy? All of these images are coming from a super secret discord and they're all tiny ass resolutions of a model of K. Rool that looks near identical to his appearance in Smash. Images like that are extremely easy to doctor. No footage, no stream. No signs that this game is in the hands of many people at all.
And no I don't think a copyright strike legitimizes any of this. Nintendo has been extremely trigger happy these days and I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down anything that even resembles a leak, fake or not.

It's not like it's more complex either, and Smash models are notoriously low poly to help with the game's performance. And you realize fake renders like this have been made for all sorts of characters, especially leading up in Smash hype cycles? I've seen more impressive fakes from that era. What's going on here is just a slightly modified K. Rool Ultimate model. It would be extremely easy to do, and honestly most of the differences you listed out can be exagerrated just due to the change of camera angle. It's still really not that different, nor would it be difficult to cook something up like this in photoshop. That's the problem here.

Xananab and Wizpig are in the game, the reason the banandium gems are on dk's planet is that Wizpig invaded Xananab's planet and Xananab moved his Banandium/Crystal Bananas there, it's a subplot in the game that is slowly revealed

We can split hairs over my diction. There are many things about it that are unchanged, even the rings on his arms. His joints look extremely similar. At worst, they took his body and slightly modified it, but this doesn't look like a new iteration of K. Rool. Like copied the homework and used a thesaurus to change a few of the words around, but it's still the same blueprint.

Really though I'm not here to split hairs over how different it is, but really driving home the point of how easily this all can be faked and we've yet to see anything really conclusive. Let's wait until these guys post some videos. Surely those will be right around the corner if this is legit.
