Vessels/Protoframes are likely going to become even more story relevant in the near future due to selling well and lore wise being better than any frame Drifter and operator currently have (besides maybe Umbra).
They are made with multiple strands that make them more damage resistant and powerful than Warframes and Primed Warframes, this combination of infections also prevents the void from hallowing them out which means you can have a Warframe that can also make choices for itself.
The only thing is they are harder to make and harder to use. They need to be made from an individual being injected with a combination of multiple strands of different types of infections, which means they can’t be traditionally crafted, and the Tenno (Drifter in this case) needs to actually bond with the frame since they still have their humanity and ability to think for themselves unlike a Warframe where it’s basically just an empty husk

Drifter going to 1999 was to get him to improve at bonding with people (and Vessels he meets), Operator didn’t need this as proven with Umbra and Jade

On passive, take the meter and attach it to her passive, increase heat status duration by 100% based on charge, heat procs increases the passive by 1%, it drains constantly.
Non meter passive: enemies within affinity range with more than 10 stacks (or capped) of heat, consumes the stack after 3 abilities cast and FUSE the heat damage in a new heat proc.
Fireball gets a new augment, on direct cast if it can be FUSEd duplicate the fireball and bounce to closest enemy but lose aoe.
Immolation without the meter is now a flat 90% DR, reduce energy drain to 5s. New augment applies heat proc and damage vulnerability to any enemy within LOS check each 5 seconds, counts as a cast for the FUSE passive.
Inferno gets a new augment, that works like tempest barrage.
Augments for 3 and 4 are baked into the kit. Overguard is given per FUSE trigger.

My idea for an Ember rework. Likely shit, but can’t be worse than what she currently has
Her passive is ass. It is now molt augmented but based on enemies killed by fire. For every enemy that gets killed by a heat proc, it increases her damage output by 0.25% up to a max of 200% and along with that damage increase, it also gives her DR at 0.015% per enemy up to a max of 90%. It also makes her immune to heat procs because she should be. If she dies once her damage output gets up to 100%, she will be revived taking all of that damage output away and summoning a miniature phoenix that shoots fireballs for 10 seconds before disappearing
Since she is an elemental frame, we can’t remove her fireball, however we can make it better. It now scales significantly better with strength and range over 100 gives it an increasing aoe effect upon hit. Her hold augment is now part of the base ability and the augment now takes away the ability to give it to your teammates in exchange for more heat damage for yourself
Her 2 is dogshit, no one likes meters. So instead, it is now a pillar of fire not unlike Qorvex’s pillars. Shooting her fireball through them increases their power and makes it turn from one ball into a fan of them. The pillar sets enemies within 20m on fire with the closer they get, the more damage it’ll do

Since 3 is her subsume, it stays as that awful fire ring. However, it no longer needs los like it does now; if an enemy is in range, it gets hit. Her purifying flame augment is now part of the base ability because it’s stupid that it’s not. Healing flame augment now gives overguard based off enemy level ie. a level 10 grineer would give you 50 overguard and a level 1000 grineer would give you 750. If you think that’s too much, think about how easily overguard gets shredded in ET/DA and endurance runs. A majority of the players won’t even see it giving them 750+ because most players don’t go any higher levels than elite archimedia so it would benefit both low level and high level players
Her 4 is an embarrassment. It now gives her summoned phoenixes starting with 1 at 100% range and maxing out at 4 at a time. These phoenixes have a toggleable projectile you can choose between 3 options. First is a rapid fire fireball. Second is a constant beam of fire but at a reduced firepower since enemies around the one being hit are now blinded by the smoke from the currently melting enemy, reducing their accuracy. And third, it is a wide sweeping melee attack where it comes out of the sky and hit multiple enemies at once with its wings. It will get an augment that eliminates all three of those options in exchange for an ability resembling world on fire. The phoenix continues to fly around but it stays around Ember now, lighting every enemy it flies over on fire but at the cost of 300% more energy used

1 is just a boring "shoot damaging projectile" ability
her 2 isn't terrible from a performance standpoint but it really isn't that interesting as an ability gameplay wise
oh wow you take anywhere from 50% to 90% damage and you have to press 2 or 3 every now and then to prevent burning out all your energy
there's no reason to not have it on and its energy drain downside takes no effort to mitigate as long as you glance towards the right side of your screen once in a while
but that replacement feels pretty bad to use. ember is an offensive frame meant to run around shooting and burning shit, not sitting behind pillars. if I wanted to camp I'd use literally any other frame. also she needs the survivability from immolate to compensate for the limited mod capacity budget that can be spent on defenses

her 3 is decent enough but definitely needs to be buffed to go through walls
and her 4 is fine, just needs a damage buff

although i agree that some augments could be made baseline and that her passive needs replacement because unless you spam 4 it'll never come into play. my ideas for better ember passives (plus heat resistance and heat status immunity, for obvious reasons)

Because de is lazy and loves timers and damage attenuation is a timer. It is a lot cheaper and easier to just slap damage attenuation on a boss than actually making phases and mechanics.

Her base skin looks better than the voidshell does because of the way the channels are split up, it becomes too solid and has weird assignments for parts that seem like they should be different
Even the voidshell armor and helmet aren't really salvageable because she doesn't have other skins to mesh them with (example: saryn voidshell unfucks saryn deluxe's channels mismatching her other helmets)

Just did ETA swimmingly until the third mission (defense), in which Temple got instagibbed by something before I could get enough kills to start using abilities (snowglobe). Wonder if it's a bug like last week's 45-minute EDA assassination. Thank you DE, very cool!

I’ve been becoming more of an ember main too. Her 1 may be boring but it fits with Volt, Frost, and arguably Saryn for being elemental frames. After thinking about it more, could make the augment for it the fanned fireballs from the 2 I proposed without thinking too much or turn it into a flamethrower ability that shoots like the ignis wraith
Her 2 definitely isn’t terrible, but like you said it’s not interesting. The pillar was definitely a dumb idea I’ll agree. The immolate survivability was added into the proposed new passive because she is a very squishy frame and needs the survivability. I was also thinking for her 2 that it could work like Gara’s 2 if the stuff from her current 2 being added into the passive was too much. Get rid of the meter and every time she takes damage it just adds to a number she gets where walking within say 5m of an enemy it sets them on fire and using her phoenix 4 keeps it up otherwise it would peter out. You could also end it early and shoot out a massive aoe that explodes with all of the saved up damage so you can choose whether to use it as a DR+small area CC ability or as a small nuke if you wanted.
Her 4 is nothing special though which is why I suggested the phoenixes and turn her into a proper fire mage/summoner so that people can think “Maybe Ember would be good here” instead of “I want to look at Ember’s ass while I do this hepit run” because right now, she has nothing going for her except the heirloom

Regular Zylok is completely unremarkable with nothing of note and numbers that are less than impressive. It's biggest boon is it's signature mod which is a flat 600% damage boost which for sure is a lot but not enough to make it stuck out much.
With the incarnon it's serviceable as a VIP killer precision weapon. Most people build it for its regular fire and ignore the transformation since it's pretty lack luster. I think it's fun but definitely not on the level of the broken secondary incarnons like Furis, Lex, Laetum, and Dual Toxos

I think the funniest part of Warframe, is fighting sentient enemies, with certain weapons.
