one consequence of the smaller screen size in GG that I hadn't really considered is that it makes whiff punishing feel easier and more intuitive
people often back up too much when they're playing passive in fighting games because they're scared to get tagged and enter a pressure string and leave themselves in a position where they can't actually whiff punish. it feels like the claustrophobic screen space in strive makes it a lot easier to just intuitively space yourself at the right distance to whiff punish.
