Are there any perks I can use to find totems quickly? Undying+Devour seems to be the most popular combo. Also our games are fucked in event it's like one survivor with 50+ levels and then the rest of at single digits or a newbie with green perks.

Downside is that her power can't down unless she goes to a certain fountain on the map to get the power that can injure someone, and even then survivors can also just simply heal to full by going to a fountain aswell, so there is a bit of back and forth between that interaction.

Ghoul just simply moves around the map faster than a Blight can in a straight line and have a free injury on someone that also powers him up, what downside does he even have? Not being able to down with the power doesn't matter if the power is just mobility and have 0 fatigue cooldown attached to it, it's like if Spirit had to simply wait 2 seconds after phasing and could see survivors.

But it's a bug that can be reproduced literally every single time(and is only visible from the perspective of survivirs) so if you get used to playing Wesker it doesn't affect you at all.

Outside of learning how much leeway you have with curving his dashes, your big issues are just knowing how big your hitbox is + where the hitbox of terrain objects are so that you don't get your dashes stuck on a random brick or some shit. You can do Blight-ty[e stuff where you hit walls at a slight angle that isn't hard enough to interrupt your dash so you can glide along.

Also learning how far your dashes go. It's just practice, it's like playing Nurse without the blink distance add-on or getting used to Huntress' axe ranges.

Wesker has the potential to be one of the most busted killers in the game, he just lacks Blight's anti-frustration "feature" of being able to chain another dash if you fuck up and clip a toenail on terrain.

this is one of the few fundamental techs (i.e. one of the ones that are easy and incredibly practical) you should know for wesker, rebound tech
when you dash into an object you will slide along it. i think you have to hold strafe in the direction you want to go to maximize the amount you drift. don't quote me on that though. angle of your dash and the surface matters too. different objects give you differing amounts of slideage, that bookcase is like the maximum amount.
but generally it's as simple as dashing at the wall to whip around the corner

there's a couple mini variations of this too, where you use your first dash to go a very short distance, bumping right away, but then using the impulse of the bump to get around the corner faster and then immediately sending your long dash. this is good at shack, where if you were to dash twice normally they could make it around the corner or have time to dodge. i'll mspaint in a second to explain it a bit better

it does depend on the object. like here i don't go very far when rebounding off this concrete divider. generally speaking the flatter something is (vertically matters too, objects that are slanted will fuck with you) and the more dead-on you are with it, the further you'll be able to rebound. whereas angled objects give far less rebound speed.

there's probably a more detailed/technical and accurate analysis out there of why this works and what objects don't, but my assumption is that rebound slides (pre-bump) are powered by the same tech that makes a lot of other techs work: wesker's dash length is pre-calculated. the game checks before he dashes when and where he'll bump, and then applies a push force continuously for the calculated duration.
the quirk is that this check uses a collision hull smaller than wesker's actual collision. so you can sneak and slide through dense objects if you can find a clean line, hug techs are done by doing this collision check facing the open but with horizontal momentum that causes you to get stuck on and pushed into a wall/object instead, and (speculatively) rebounds happen because the game thinks it'll take longer for you to get to that object than it actually does, so you get effectively a mini-hug effect as the game pushes you against the object for a brief moment.
this is why objects slanted on either plane reduce the effectiveness, as the edge of the collision check will hit the object sooner than if you were flat on with it, giving you less push time. i believe the collision check is also rectangular and not a capsule so that exacerbates this. mspaint coming up after this post
i could be wrong about this being how rebounds work. this is just my extrapolation of what i know about the two techs

None of the pure SWF perks are that good though. It's just that they're next to useless solo. Like yeah you can technically use better together with your duo but it's not actually as good as just running a good perk.

SWFs benefit from things like not having to take kindred, bond, ooo, etc or only needing 1 person to run it and everyone gets the benefit which is the real problem. Either they need to make things like kindred basekit or balance the game in a way where it's not borderline necessary for solos.
