My experience with Inferno has gotten a lot better since learning to cancel the Booster Pack early. Just tap it on for a second for the instant surge and turn it off; like about 40% energy and only a 3 second cooldown. Only run it for longer if you really need to afterimages or the shield recharge.

You have a misunderstanding of how the game works. Your shots probably aren't projectiles but rather hitscan. The kicker is that when shooting mechs with hitscan weapons, their hitbox is actually ahead of them. Try the narukami challenges. One of them requires shooting some flyers out of the air while they meander around. What you will notice is that when your reticle is ahead of them, it will turn red indicating that the shot will hit. Naru is 100% a hitscan weapon, but the game constanly calculates your shot as if you need to lead it. Maybe there is a ping thing going on like you said, but you can absolutely hit him during the downwards spiral, you just have to shoot the air.

I think I burned out on this game, the sweat in asia general is really gross and I just can't have fun with it. MMK extreme is all cheese. Casual is all bots. smurfing is all bots. Ace arena is 15 minute queues because nobody plays it.

Also a "Complex Shield Perfect Block Damage Ratio" stat which I'm not sure if that's the parry in general or maybe timing it well for a damage bonus to your follow-up attack?

Obviously not as sprawling, but with the way objectives and what-not work in mashmak right now, I think they could retool a lot of what exists already and make a pretty compelling maybe quarterly event with cutscenes and what-not that could keep people coming back. recurring characters that come on the ship and stay for events and you could pose with and have dialogue with them would be pretty neato.

You can instantly go from the down slash to the drill but if you wait until after the down slash hits to let go of M1 it'll make a delay as the game registers the command, so you need to actually hit M2 to trigger the down slash and then let go of M1 right away even though you aren't in position yet.

Panther's drill is one of the most fucked things in the game when it comes to lag, sometimes you'll drill right through someone and they just clip to the side instead, other times you'll activate the drill and someone who was a body length below you will then snap back up onto it. And of course it applies to you trying to dodge melee attacks too.
Playing the game at 80ms feels like playing at 200ms. And when the game puts you on a 200ms server because of their incompetent matchmaking it's unplayable because your commands just won't even register half the time, like Luminae's drones just not firing because the game refuses to register the lock-ons.

I feel like this map is really good for Falcon. You can fly around unseen and take points. The points in the caves are easy to loop on and shoot missiles into. You can even shoot into them from the center of the map at the right angle. The center of the map is mostly open outside of the destructible platforms which become a non-issue and the pillars. It can be annoying if they have a heavy, campy team I suppose.

These are absolute power houses that usually have the biggest impact on the game. They often need to be countered or will dominate the scene.

B Tier Central Team - Tricera, Luminae, Falcon
Another host of power houses, with a strong focus on Objectives. Luminae making it here as the only other healer.

C tier Niche Filling - Serenith, Stego, Skyraider, Stellaris, Alysnes
All of these mechs are strong, but they generally aren't mandatory compared to the tiers above them. They can all do well, and there is plenty of good reason to bring them for objectives.

D tier No Real Niche - Panther, Inferno, Hurricane
Again, these MECHS ARE NOT WEAK, they are down here not because they can't perform... but because there is no real reason to bring them over a different mech. Hurricane can probably escape this tier with a buff... The other two probably need a slight rework to increase their utility.

Getting top assist and top tactic on serenith is so map dependent, its fustrating.
If you get a healer, its a struggle to get top assist, if you get payload, its impossible to get top tactic because the fatboys sit on the payload the entire game.

As Luminae main, every time I try to play Pinaka I notice two things in comparison to Lumi: absolute lack of mobility and the healing tether range. It's simply not enouggh (for me), you need to be right next to the mecha you are healing for it. Though Pinaka offers better damage options, even the walls are clunky to use on moving targets

Luminae, no question. In my experience combatants switch places pretty quickly, I rarely could keep up with Pinaka here. Meanwhile Luminae can simply dash around the map, spamming drones here and there. I never had a problem dashing across the map to save someone's ass with emergency healing, likewise I can shake off Stellaris/Panther's chase thanks to wings. Any stationary target is not at fair here, unless you are Tricera/Stego, constant movement is a key to survival. Maybe a good Pinaka can keep up with it, but me? Not really

Again, I'm a biased Luminae player, I'd pick her over Pinaka even on maps where the last shines simply because I'm better at Lumi

I tried tweaking the camera sensitivity for welkin and stellaris and it's a lot better now. But I still hate using them and today nobody on my team was using Welkin so I was forced to use him. I have the "win with Stellaris" challenge and I couldn't clear that at all, nothing I'm attacking with Stellaris gets stunned and I don't get why.

That said, Pinaka and especially Serenith feel downright impossible to deal with. Inferno and Hurricane are also rough, but at least they don’t fuck up your turret mode, so you can still soak some damage.

Against Welkin the trick is simple: pop turret mode inside his cage, wait it out, then kite him after. Most of the time, he’ll either spam ranged attacks after being demoralized of your parries or just disengage. And always make sure to save your Howiztsr until his defenses are down, that’s your trump card to delete him. Honestly, he’s one of the easier matchups for Tricera once you figure him out.

Interesting. In TDM I have played both Luminae and Pinaka. Its a big clusterfuck most of the time and I have a hard time keeping track of where everyone is at because no one stays together. I will say if Tricera, Stego or Welkin are in the match, it is a bit easier for me to follow them and try to keep their health up when i play as Pinaka. But it's SOL if I'm focused, lol.

My best maps I like playing are capture and hold along with escort. Just recently on Kraub Sinkhole, once I took a point with Pinaka, no one could take it from me.
