Yeah, unless you have a very high ascension party, you're gonna need 3 breaks. With an A3 Madokami, you can kill her even if you don't time your breaks that well imo. The issue comes from how long it takes you to break her with an A1 Ren.
With A2 Ren it'd go faster and you'd be able to survive, I've done it. With A2 Mami, you also get more speed so you'd break faster and have better survivability, I've seen a clear or two with A0/A1 Ren and A2 Mami.

You might want to reroll for the limited Swimsuit Mami coming out in a few hours. You should have your tutorial pull with a guaranteed 5*, at least 3k gems to pull on Swimsuit Mami, a free 10-pull on a standard banner and at least 10 keys (which are tickets) for the standard banner.
If you can get an account with Swimsuit Mami and Pluvia Madoka, you're set. You'll be able to grab Sana (a 5* defender) from the current 5* selector event after 10 days. But you can always try going for your favorites.
Rerolls are fast once you get past the tutorial for the first time.
Go into the Settings menu and use the Delete Account option.
You won't be able to recover the account with a transfer ID, but you can choose to skip the tutorial when you start the game again.

The exedra one doesn't repeat does it? Magireco was one 4* every 100 rolls of no 4 star, rate-up applied, and this was for an unlimited amount of times. Exedra is one random 5* from the general pool at 50 first rolls. Then at 100 rolls, a random 5* that includes the limited unit at a lower than rate-up chance and that's it, no?

I wouldn't call it pity, since pity is usually an unlimited thing. But sure, for whales or f2ps that don't roll beyond 200 for the guarantee, it can be 'pity' in some way.

She has a special pull animation with the screen turning off and her model showing up with her back turned to you which appears on the last screen before your gacha pull results (when you see the colored orbs), much like Madokami.
The gauge is a one time thing per banner and it's an extra pull after the 100.
Summer Mami works best with her A1 as it'd take a bit to get her magic to 5 and maintain it there in harder content.
