Hunting Horn getting a bubble on perfect Focus Wound Attacks is nice QOL as well.

In Rise I just change the elemental resistances occasionally or swap some decos out to nullify conditions. I don't have to change nearly as much. Granted, even in world I wasn't too anal about builds, I just put together stuff I thought would work. Once I got endgame I was pretty much just using Gold Rathian gear for firepower, or a different set for mobility. I don't remember what the actual set was for the latter, I think it was mostly Savage Tigrex?
When I started World I hadn't played any MH since PSP so if any of the games between have as much or more customization options than World I wouldn't know. I never got into the nintendo games.

What is it with the "build resource then cash it out on a big attack" weapon design that's taken over monhun? It seems like every new weapon has this design and they centralize it even more with every change to the weapon.

Can they just stop with this shit? I guess it's just me, but I vastly prefer just upkeeping buffs. Can't really do that though because spending the resources is far and away much more damage. We're starting to see it infect the older weapons too. Longsword got helm splitter and Sacred Sheathe cash outs. Greatsword and Hammer are being built towards even more levels of charge that you need to sequentially progress through. Gunlance has moves where you spend all your bullets instantly. Honestly surprised Dual Blades don't have some big attack that spends all of Archdemon gauge.
