It's the problem with episodic releases. If people had had the full game, they might have had reason to want to avoid the prophecy. Instead it's "watch a shitty romance from the cuck chair" or "watch a better written romance"
I think the fact that people are locked in a specific point in the story is fucking with their experience of it in ways that toby didn't expect. I also suspect he's going to push ahead with his original vision regardless until the conflict slaps him in the face. I bet in chapter 5 he swings the pendulum too far in the other direction and does something really fucking stupid to try and make snowgrave seem like the wrong choice again.

So, the consensus is: The Weird date will happen, with player controlling both Noelle and Kris at the same time. You choose both sides of dialogue. A bit like playing chess as both black and white pieces.

Eventually she warms up to him, in a way that almost exactly mirrors how she built her relationship initially with kris and ralsei. That same process never happens with noelle.
That's what I'm complaining about, dumbass. If you have a character act a certain way and tell us that they feel a certain way if that changes it should be for a better reason than because "I think deer-lizard sex is hot"

It's also probably because to actually get the full information out of those scenes, you have to actually, purposefully stop moving or doing anything. If you don't care for Suselle, but you still don't want to miss out on potentially important information (which there is), you have to actually just let go of the controls entirely for several minutes, several times in a row.

It only works this way if Susie is the one being fought over, and that still leaves Noelle out since she's being a cunt to and about Kris, somebody Susie cares about and who is the first person to actually go the extra mile for.
As it stands, it'd be bad writing to just send her off with Noelle and say "well that's how the tropes are" because they're not. And if you want to lie and work the IRL angle, it also doesn't work because you need to be the one to make the moves and neither of them do, fucking Berdly makes more of a move.
