I don't think that’s true anymore. I think there’s been a rise in younger users in their 20s, while the age gap for those in the middle is getting wider.
People in their 30s and early 40s feel disconnected from both the younger and older groups, and it’s that middle bracket that seems to be leaving the most right now.
It seems like this is the cycle of Second Life. Young people discover SL and the middle-aged tend to drift away, and some older players stick around.
