Magilou and Rokurou might as well have been cut from the game. Eizen was cool but he's just there to make references to his little sister and set up Zaveid's character. I'm a gigantic Eleanorfag but she's only there to be a foil to Velvet. Arthur's whole motivation was "boohoo my wife is dead" but worse. Exploration was good but the actual combat felt button mashy for most of the game unless you used Eleanor or Eizen.
I don't think Berseria is bad but it's just not as good compared to the others. It does get points for saving the series from getting canned altogether.
