This is what I dislike about 2X. The storyline remained shit, but the (You)s that I liked from the 1.X have almost disappeared. The only thing keeping me playing right now is the combat, but even that has started to become boring. If Kuro no longer wants to make (You)s then I hope they will at least expand Rover's story in the future patches. Playable characters who are abandoned after a few updates feel more like NPCs and I can't really take NPC storyline seriously if there are no (You)s. The story right now is literally just NPCs talking to each other and the little crumbs of (You)s they still add feel even more shallow and make even less sense than before. Like, for example, Lupa. She spends most of her time with Cartethiya or alone, the MC does basically nothing for the whole patch and in the end she still clings to me for no reason, like it was an afterthought so people won't get upset. Just do one thing but good instead of a bunch of things but bad.

Remember that adding new 4* characters to make the roster more diverse and give characters more team compilation options is very player unfriendly. It gives you less corals because your rolls will be diluted by new 4* characters. They aren't, and thats the difference that you are missing, wuwa base movement is already really good, so the extra movement abilities are barely an improvement. The reason people treat it differently than genshin is because the base movement in genshin is actual dogshit, so the movement abilities make an actual big difference. In wuwa getting to spot A to spot B with or without Phoebe (strongest movement skill) is like 10 seconds to 20 seconds at best and that is an extreme case, meanwhile in genshin its the difference of floating up a mountain for 20 seconds vs spending 2 or 3 minutes climbing because of a combination of slow climbing and stamina limitation, if genshin increased the sprint/climbing speed or made stamina infinite outside of combat those complaints would mostly go away though.

Pretty much this. Phoebe will say whatever they can to shill her, but because the base movement mechanics aren't nails on chalk board you aren't actually missing out on much. In comparison to a zone like natlan where you will feel miserable without a 5 star from there, at no point has rinascita made me feel like a I need someone just to make moving from point A to B tolerable.
