I don't have any idea what EN is calling strategies but for instance you'd probably want to swap SR Sweepy out for SR Flash when training the second further back position,

Here's one of my old schedules for training Mid/Long I still had saved. By the way, you can't quickly skip each race from the training screen so you need to load in -> skip -> view results for every single race. And yes, this means your uma will be bottomed out at worst mood with 0 energy for 90% of the run and you need to hope the RNG aligns so you can stockpile enough items to jump them all the way back to best mood with enough energy restore items every summer so you can actually train.
