And the aggressive monetization is part of the problem to anyone not willing to take out their wallets. They need to take a short term financial hit by releasing hype costumes/weapons/whatever for free, or make every kind of cosmetic grindable. There is no reason the current model shouldn't work, its set up exactly the same way as many other successful games on the market. Everything not cosmetic is incredibly easy to grind up the problem is there are so many menus and different ways to do things that its incredibly overwhelming to the average person picking up the game and they'll quit before they realize how chill everything is. I think this game burned its bridges with the wide community from its launch being so poorly received and nothing is going to bring back those players, TFD is going to be a niche game for the rest of time because its image was already ruined.

On the flipside I think its worth a shot to create something like a one time starter pack that gives a character token(ANY base character) and 750 Caliber for $10, just so people can very cheaply get something they want to play and grind with and a slutty outfit while also getting their feet wet on spending money on the game.

They can make them more practical oriented, simpler combat outfits, or general random stuff like the mechanic one coming up that I don't see anyone realistically dropping $15 for. They really need to find a way to make the f2p model more attractive. Once people are hooked and like the game, they'll be willing to drop a little money to get the one skin/character they want, but to do that they have to want to play the game at all and feel rewarded for doing so. Like, take the dyes for example. Being one-use PER item, and most of them being locked behind real money. What the fuck, a f2p can't even recolor their outfits like they want without paying. There'll also be other boxes with the bits needed to make dog food, the dog, and the descendant. IIRC correctly, you want 'experimental materials' to make the descendant, and 'genetic materials' to make the dog, but it's been month so I couldn't say for sure.

There's a weapon mod called Veil Analyser you can use to help bust shields, that plus malevolent / restored relic will do about as good a job as Voltia would plus they'll actually kill the guy in the shields afterwards.

Primary end game is primarily clearing multiple rooms of 300 guys as fast as possible. Most guns do not have 300 bullets in them, and even if they did those 300 mens will be dead by another player's skills before you can even line them up. Fortunately, most characters worth using are coomerific, so this probably won't be a problem.
Secondary end game is shooting maybe 30 guys with a billion EHP each that also has a time limit, and most guns can't do 30 billion damage in 15 minutes, atleast unassisted. Fortunately for you, the characters who can assist guns to this point are all coomerific.

Unfortunately, while there are multiple coomerific characters, only approximately 5 of them are worth using, atleast without a weeks worth of investment. So make sure you use the good coomer character because the bad coomer characters are just not worth it. In particular, never ever pick the big titty ice power brunette as she's the longest character to grind who takes the most investment to be arguably the worst character in the game, even more so than the moids and they're all a tier worse than than the next worst female.

For an actual answer there's two ways, both equally important:
1. High resolution, the game just simply looks way better at 4K. 1440p isn't awful, but 1080p will just look like shit no matter what.
2. The game has baked in TAA which adds a load of artifacts around everything to "blur" stuff together, it looks kind of okay in motion if you don't pay too close attention, but in still frames it looks like absolute dogshit. The ONLY WAY TO DISABLE THIS is to use the DLAA setting with Nvidia's DLSS4 override, this overrides the baked in TAA and does Nvidia's AA instead which is way better and doesn't add tons of artifacts around everything.

Also you can turn sharpness up to about 3, then you get some pretty nice screenshot quality.
