Charon is a much worse Luminous magus that will summon either a 2/2 and a 1/1 or literally just a 1/1 if you didn't have an on-curve skeleton generator.
Dark General is a 4pp Razory Claw. She's the least bad of the new gold/legend Abyss cards, but still very underwhelming.
The zombie man is the only good Abyss card revealed so far.

After 4-5 expansions with 15+ lego decks it's going to be nearly impossible to get into the game unless they give some upgraded gibs to fresh accounts.
All they need to do is give out 1 meta relevant deck for the craft of your choice to new accounts after letting people test run those decks for a couple days and it's all fine.
It was overblown because of the miniset fears I think and again, the starting issue.

Meanwhile Sword has ignomious which is 2pp bane rush in the late game that needs no setup, they also have a 3pp deal 5 which removes just about most threats early.
3pp to MAYBE remove something (if you have setup) feels way worse in comparison.
For early game, you don't really need bane to remove 2/3 health followers, and for late, it feels bad to use a 2-card combo to remove a single follower. 3pp to give bane feels bad specially because for most scenarios, 3/2 statline is significantly worse than 2/3 (since the very common 2/2 can remove the former).
I'd be happy to be proven wrong but I still feel like Bonermancer will be the only 3pp abyss follower worth playing (unless they also print that one 2/2 zombie that respawns once as a card, he would be good).

That's actually high enough that most people will eventually get rolled by it 3 times in a row if they play enough games of WB. But I guess the important number is that you'll actually get Satan dclimb OTK'd often enough to begin with that it isn't an uncommon interaction

>>531382268bro nobody who actually plays the game is waiting for rune to hit 10sp, usually you're forced to dclimb on 7/8/9 to dig for kuon/heals/greas or to just make a board to not die. and ironically even in that situation rune still comes out on top because you're effectively playing anywhere from 14-18 sp in 1 turn when your opponent is only playing 7-9
