Basically, I like having GDKP's because I like being able to actually raid on my alts and actually get gear. There's nothing to do on servers without GDKP once you've raided on your main.

This "system" was intended to create a GDKP-like experience without the problems that come with GDKP. As well, as to heavily stimulate the auction house/professions.

I'm on a LC guild on my main. I just like doing GDKP's on my alts. Without GDKP's, it's pointless to level alts. On Classic, I had six level 60's that I raided with(druid/priest/warrior/warlock/mage/paladin). And with GDKP's I could actually get gear(including for off-spec, since I main a druid).

From exp on cromie that did wrath in vanilla (ofc no custom shit really), wars were top dogs simply due to threat issues desu. Pala is mostly reactive threat, which was the worst for bosses (fine in aoe adds), and bears were in a similar boat with very poor threat gens. Yeah wars prob have the most basic kits, but they at least could hold bosses to not wipe on. Unless epoch drastically changed threat modifiers or what not, I see that still being the biggest issue.

Feral is just stupid strongly in a pre-cata world in general, it just gets cucked in vanilla (and tbc) because "Our MT randomly fucking died" is a very real thing that can happen because getting crit cap is pretty hard before wrath and crit+crush means your tank is dust 90% of the time.

Paladin tank's 2 big issues are dogshit snap threat (fixed with the seal stuff) and zero scaling (because itemization is poopoo) and epoch devs are gooning about super secret insane raid gear items hidden in long quest lines and generally stroking off about itemization so it is pretty easy to do 1+1. Also did I mention that paladin tank items are functionally fucking useless for the other 2 tanks?
Also, warrior (tank) tier bonuses and """changes""" are godawful and fix none of the warrior's insanely large and glaring issues (the issue is that brown tank hits like a wet noodle and is a worse bear outside of that 5% where your bear turns to ash).

Given the chance they edited threat values/gens, this will be an issue. Otherwise they *could* tank, but it's not optimal. An no, running a furyprot or UAprot or w/e wasn't often better than most deep prot builds. Unless epoch specifically fucked up majorly, which could be the case, threat is still an issue raid wise.

Not really no. My recommendation is that you join a raiding guild and then go to role-play events, meet people, and make friends. Almost all the role-playing guilds will let you join their discords as a non-member so you can keep in touch with them that way.
The alternative is to join a role-playing guild and join a raiding pug. There are a few good pugs out there. Some role-players do this and you can even raid with them.

They have this in Ascension somewhat every season when the AQ gates event starts. To farm the bosses spawning around Silithus it's mandatory PvP (not high risk, mind you, but there's also a separate layer for high risk) and it's pretty kino. Most of the people there for farming bosses are pure PvE specs so you can play a spec specifically made for something like BG PvP and absolutely murder entire raids of people at a time.
