Honestly the thing that really irritates me is none of the survivor macro strats in DBD are difficult or require deep game knowledge but people play like it's a mystery or some shit. So many ridiculously simple rules like

>If the game tells you someone else is being chased, you don't need to worry about stealth anymore and can just run to do a gen
>If the killer is chasing someone who's been hooked twice already and you haven't been hooked yet, it's safe for you to go take a protection hit
>If you're being slugged and you're close to someone else(on hook or on the ground, doesn't matter) you should crawl away so the killer can't guard all of you at once so easily
None of this shit is difficult or requires that much active thinking. Most of it can be intuited out by yourself after a handful of matches, you don't need a guide to tell you what a 3gen is for you to think it might be a bad idea to repair everything on one side of the map. And the game has a LOT of mental downtime when you're fixing gens to spend a couple of seconds considering extremely basic shit like "should I go unhook?"

Since the game isn't free to play(and therefore flooded full of idiot 14-year-olds with undeveloped brains) the only conclusion is that the average player really is just that fucking stupid and that the NPC meme is true.

November Chapter is indeed danganronpa, from what I know Spike Chunsoft desperately wants to revive the franchise with their first step is doing a collaboration with a popular game that fits the atmosphere of the franchise.
It's been in development since the end of spring similar to Tokyo Ghoul, both IPs were secured around the same time with another reason being that BHVR actively wants to get more eastern franchises in, with Tokyo Ghoul and Danganronpa being the starting ones.
Some details regarding the chapter, the survivors will be Shuichi and Kaede from the third game, there are multiple legendaries skin planned for them that based on another students, the ones that 100% confirmed are Hajime and Chiaki.
Killer choice is really controversial as they decided to go with Genocide Jack as the killer, she's just like Kaneki had altered lore to explain as to why she bacame a full on killer character, her ability is a mix of Nemesis and Legion, with her being able to quickly land deep wound on survivors while 3 Monokumas are roaming the map, attacking and detecting survivors, I'm not sure exactly how different it is from the zombies but there is a difference in how it "feels" that i'm certain of.
She also has a very unique Mori, replicating the execution style with there being pink blood and specifically composed theme for it during the animation.
She has two confirmed legendaries for her, one is mukoro, and the other is the soilder man from the third game.
Similar to FNAF chapter, original survivors will all have purchasable pink blood prestige skin.

It's simply more engaging and you feel rewarded for doing well and the overall outcome of the match feels less significant if you had a fun chase or two. Nemesis has better perks and I think more fun because the zombies while retarded do allow for unique gameplay moments you wont see in other killer's games and the iri + purple zombie speed addons are super fun.

WoO is just fine. i don't think it's good like pain res is good and you can play without it and have a pretty similar experience, but it's definitely useful for routing and a big QoL increase when playing solo/duo

zoning itself is contextual. unless you can cut the survivor off or otherwise threaten a hit you can't zone them from shit. that's the whole mechanism of zoning. if a survivor is running away from you towards a tile there is no zoning that

Do different killers have different M1 hurtboxes or does it just kind of feel that way? Knight's vertical swing seems like it goes further but has a narrower hitbox for example

It does sort of feel like it, but it may be confirmation bias, that you go for some things more often. When I was new and only played Wraith, it felt like I had a much longer lunge, even when not cloaked, than Doc.
