For the life of me I can't understand why they didn't make the Crystalis quests skippable. It's literally the same mission every time, the only difference is that you get randomized rewards. What was even the point?

it's just heartphials with stats and no skips. i think they should change it so there are skips but you can still fail if the auto-battler would have failed. this forces people to use good teams, and it's just a bit different strategically than heartphials where you're not using the auto-battler and have to use alternate teams to beat the nightmare bosses.

For anyone frustrated at not dropping the EX crystalis: You're not falling behind or anything. The dupe crystalis you get are transformed into drops and the actual rng element of this mechanic is to reroll substats on your crystalis using drops.
Drops are the resource we'll be farming for a long time while we'll soon run out of characters to bring to the farming once we get the EX crystalis on all of them.
There are of course 2 other crystalis you can add to every character, but since those require a resource you can't farm we'll likely get all of those S rank crystalis before we can equip them.

For those on Mumu, you can just setup a macro to click on the bottom right of the screen to burn your QP on Crystalis.

other than the unique element type damage bonus crystalis in each type, the only significant thing is the efficiency of your team's kill speed and ability to auto (since you can't skip). the better setup you have for the weak element types each one has, the faster and more AFK you'll be able to grind through tons of QP.

Most of those orbs are from 111 to 120 and just like 120 to 130 the stats increase are minor. It won't gate you from clearing any content nor does it feel necessary to max out. Be patient and raise your favorites over time.

That's not the same kind of buff though. The way the game seems to do the math is that they take all the multipliers related to a buff (and debuff), add them together, and then multiply every buff. So something like 10% ATK buff, 20% ATK buff and 20% dmg dealt and 10% dmg received becomes 30% ATK buff x 30% dmg dealt/received (since these are also considered the same kind of buff).
So Tsuruno's support ability would be multiplicative with the buffs but additive with something like an ascension buff that says "20% extra power to buffs". In the case of Felicia and Ren, ailment hit rate is the same whether it comes from crystalis, portrait or support ability.

I've gotten a level from burning my QP and cubes today, so probably a month or so.

They've been doable for me as a F2P without the level cap increase, so unless they raise the difficulty an absurd amount after this version, which I don't think they'll do, we should be fine.

You have to compare the stats gain to the resources needed for them. The extra atk and crit rate is welcome on attackers but I'm not gonna lose sleep over not having access to it right away and I'd still prioritize my favorites because it's usually not what makes or breaks a battle.

I think elemental DMG% and ATK% are the better option, flat ATK seems inferior to ATK% since attackers have 3.5k+ ATK usually.

True, but flat ATK in this game adds to base ATK which gets boosted by ATK% increases, which is what led to my question. The more ATK% you have the bigger value flat ATK gets.

Reminder: There are now event medals in the cumulative score rewards of the score attack. Take the time to get some score attack battles done to grab enough medals to buy the event portraits before you continue running the event for a little extra medal boost.

I assume you're talking about The Savior's Apostle vs. A Dream of A Little Mermaid ? In that case, it's only a 16 flat ATK boost versus a 20% ATK boost, way bigger difference.
Think I'll just roll with whichever Crystalis I drop first, unless some math comes out that says that one is much better than the other. I managed to roll +60 ATK on the flat ATK one so in my Homura's case I guess I'll just keep that one.

With both Pluvia and Moe, you probably don't need any sustain at all until well into Nightmare diff. Personally I also wouldn't bother with Lux Madoka for now, Pluvia alone is plenty to break mobs. 4* Ayame and 4* Hazuki are useful units even for endgame content, so putting resources into them instead won't be a waste. Lux only becomes interesting for you once you unlock supports as a support for Pluvia.

There's also some short original what if scenarios at the end of every Nightmare chapter.
A story similar to Scene 0 is in the works and will likely come out sometime next year. The lighthouse story is also in the works and is being supervised by DoroInu, the writer behind Magia Record.
Each magical girl also has her own story but you've gotta raise their hearphials (bond level) to unlock them. Some of it original, some from Magia Record, some mixed.

Playing exedra on my computer fucks my touchpad. It just stops responding and my laptop seems to think it no longer exists. I thought my pc was bricked, it took me like 4 hours to fix it. Yeah that would be nice. I do enjoy watching the characters I rolled for get some screen time instead of it just ending in the completed screen. Making it auto or not makes no real difference for me but it's more of the convince of it.

A neat concept would be real time pvp where you pick a team and go against players real time like chess but not only would that take forever gameplay wise assuming it keeps the pacing it does in the pvp we already have but also not work for the long term assuming player numbers drop and this is also not including the fact with meta characters but it would be a lot more inconvenient since I'd imagine you queue with the team you chose and can't change your load out to fight the opposing player like you can in the current pvp. It's reasonable but the current free gem income has been around 12-15k gems a month, so pulling on banners that aren't limited doesn't seem worth it. The standard characters get added to the standard pool at the end of the month their banner ends on. Right now the system works well, with all the free pulls and 5* keys it's not hard to get everyone, but with time the pool will get diluted which is worrying.
At the start you'll have a good 75k+ stones from the content out right now so nothing to worry about right now.
