Basically every noteworthy warrior from history or mythology was an archer, because the bow was the definitive weapon of hunting and warfare along with the spear. The problem is that there are virtually no "legendary bows" so most archers are defined entirely by their feats, which just comes down to a powerlevel hyperbole wank between different cultures. You could basically contrive anyone into the spot if you stretched hard enough.
