I'm barely surviving these fucking raids, got zhuk (press) with lvl III plates and somehow scav still managed to black out my stomach in 1 shot. Tried to do surgery but I ran out of fucking hydration and energy whilst doing it so I was wheezing constantly. Luckily the next scav had food and water so I somehow managed to do another surgery. My stomach was at fucking 9hp since it was technically 2nd surgery. Killed pscav that was trying to rush me, looted some more and tried to exfil but I ran across another pmc/pscav that blackout my stomach AGAIN. Barely ran away and I had just enough analgin to get to the flare extract.

Usually AI is really easy to pick apart one by one, just gotta locate them and do quick peeks and tap them one by one. They will rarely move and sit in predictable, easy to get spots. use grenades to force them to reveal their positions.

PvE in this game is incredibly primitive. The standard for PvE is something like an 80% SR and 100 KDA for players who, in PvP, typically have no more than a 40% SR and 5 KDA.

I get that not everyone is destined to be talented at video games, but no one is asking you to play at a 2.5k ELO level from CS2. All that's required is the bare minimum to succeed, even in PvP. Tarkov isn’t a competitive game where esports pros will steamroll you. And in PvE, you could practically play with one hand and your eyes closed.

So yeah, you’re probably right. The issue with Tarkov right now is that all the cannon fodder has fled to PvE and isn’t playing real Tarkov. As a result, every map has become super sweaty. I usually go on reserve and sit below the dome, you can climb on the rocks for more height but you can shoot at dorms, knight buildings, the whole lot there and there's usually decent traffic. Sawmill I usually approach from the SouthEast and shoot into it, a bit less safe than Sniper rock but a lot of times the PMCs post up at odd spots where you don't have an angle. Ground Zeros I go to that central building where you gotta jump on the railing to get around barbed wire to the upper floors with the MGs/GLs and that gives a fairly wide shooting floor, though I'd recommend doing that at night since that map is kinda small and they'll laser you. Interchange, second floor from the north is decent since PMCs tend to congregate at the south end or upper middle area.

There were a couple days where I simply couldn't get any further because i would die 50% of the time. Just play it slow and don't sprint around the map. Big fan of the hardcore wipe, I think everyone (including BGS) is learning what makes the game actually interesting. In 1.0, I hope the fleamarket stays gone for good. Or at least, maybe you can only get junk/food from it (no gear). Scav timers should also be back at 1.5 hours. However, selling items to traders should be at the normal price. If anything, some junk items should actually sell to traders for a little bit more.

I've said it before, but simply removing the flea market solves a ton of the progression issues with the game. We don't need this fuckery with making items sell for pennies. With properly tweaked gear purchase limits from traders, you would see some great gear variety.

Play arena this weekend to build your confidence. Then understand that you are going to die in tarkov, youre going to die a lot. Doesn't matter youre skill level, you are going to lose kits and fail tasks. It's going to happen alot, learn to accept this.

Additionally, this is something i still struggle with, but its 10,000% easier to rat in a corner and play the defensive game than it is to breach a building and kill who ever is hiding in the shadows. With this in mind, If you have to capitalize on your spawn, move onto the hot spot before any other players arrive and adopt a defensive posture. If you had a bad spawn then just play it slow, but never be afraid to take the fight when it comes to you.
