It moves me deep within my heart to watch a Wisp meleeing over and over into the bloated chest of a long-dead enemy.

Vigor has no use. There is not a single frame where you would want both shields and health.
Primed Shred is not bad, but there are better options for both fire rate and punch through.
Primed Sure Footed is best on slot for 90% of frames because preventing knockdown is the most important status effect to prevent. It stops you from dying, stops annoying knockdowns in general, and it completely prevents you from being flinched by your own explosive weapons. The only frames that do not use it are frames that have some kind of status immunity to it.
Go look at >overframe or >youtube builds and any frame that does not have status immunity or maybe invisibility has that in the slot. Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to fuck with you and lock you out of it for another 200 days of logins.

Exodia Contagion gods never die.
The other zaw arcanes are either bad or are essential early test versions of modern melee arcanes, and they don't always work with the new melee arcanes because DE hates being fun and epic. For example, there is one that spread status effects and it doesn't work with influence. You'll have to experiment to find something good.
They do not appear in Duvuri, but if kitguns or zaws are selected for EDA or ETA you can take any one that you want.
If you are making one of every strike for mastery, I recommend building most for criticals, but making a few for status or hybrid builds. The faster grips have higher DPS by any calculation, but you can choose the slower ones if you aren't an absolute meta whore.

I think it was a good way at trying to expand the Drifter's personality more. But it came with the double edged sword of choice. Sure you can talk to the Hex and mold your Drifter's backstory and personality how you want.
Most of the time I find the whole hanging with your digital friends and girlfriend or boyfriend stuff a bit more boring to the actual interesting meat when they reveal some actual lore bits and story about the setting.
At some point you feel like you get a grasp of everything that's offered and there's not much else to see.

As for the Flare, Kaya, Minerva and Velmir stuff? I've more mixed feelings on it because it felt like they sorta forgot to finish Minerva and Velmirs arc off until Isleweaver and Kaya's sorta just. There? Like, she gets a neat little ending to her arc I guess? Flare's where the meat of the second batch is from. But even then, all the characters feel like an after-thought to giving you new updates on the main hex system

I play a lot of Loki because he is one of my favorite frames.
The only thing he does better than any other frame is not dying. He has no-strings-attached invisibility, and infinitely refreshable grey bar (that cannot be silenced/nullified) that he can use even on acolytes and overguarded enemies. He theoretically can have a permanent grey bar. Loki does not need a full rework, but he does need changes.
